I think some good news would be great around now, we are at a high point of inflation for another 1k blocks or so. A lil news to even it out would be fantastic

https://twitter.com/cryptowest/status/590006453861122048

I think we will stay between 70-80k for another couple of hours and then get to a higher floor.

I agree. At some point over the next 6 hours or so someone will just buy up the order book once again - seems to be a common trend around this time. The buy walls will move up, the supply will dry out again and we will consolidate above 90,000. Every hour that goes by without the price being able to be pushed down below 70,000 is pushing it closer and closer to a break out. Sideways movement in a positive market where the consensus among the investors and traders is that the price can and will go up, will always result in a break out.

Remember - Network weight is now 2.5x higher than 24 hours ago. We are now around 243,000 - that is crazy! Things have leveled out and the price will shoot up accordingly. Same thing happened with the 30 block reward and network weight around 50,000 - it quickly started to rise to 100,000 and the price shot up. Expect the same thing to happen again. The beauty of POS is its fair - you will get a profit in proportion with the investment you have put up. I'm earning alot but I had to risk over 15 Bitcoin to get here. Others may complain they never find a block but they have only fronted up with .15 bitcoin, or something equally insignificant in the scheme of things.

For this coin to be a profitable staker for you personally - you simply must invest more than $20 or $30. If that doesn't suit you, then don't stake. If you like free money - put in 3 or 4,000 dollars and watch how it grows day on day.

so ur plan is buy high sell low?

as we're mining 1000 coins every 15mn; your advice is to buy now... smart...

just wait for every fucker to stake double what they get and dump it @market rates if you aren't in yet.

Yes. I advise people to buy now - get those coins staking as soon possible. You want to make the most of this high rewards period because eventually it will switch over to 9% P.A and the only people who will be able to afford masternodes without huge fiat investments will be those who staked and held.

OMG the dev still doesn't release the ANN Grin
He own a design company with few designer (as he said in the OP) and need how many weeks to release that ANN with infographics and promotion images?
That's pity to see you guys falling in that trap again but good luck.

Yes. This is starting to become very concerning. I've been refreshing the OP to see the updated announcement but it's been days now and nothing's forthcoming.

What this crypto is exactly and what issues/requirements it is addressing is fundamentally important. There needs to be a statement on what areas of adoption for real-world use it's looking to achieve. People need to see what the vision is for long term growth and usefulness that will attract users of the currency, not just speculators.

At the the moment it's looking very much like people are just waiting for the pump so they can offload all their holdings and buy back in when it slumps back down. That's not a future, that's a small bunch making big bucks and a whole lot being burned.

I'd like to see far more from the dev on the vision and what this is genuinely about/for.

So once the 100 blocks end would you think it is better to stop staking during the coming 20 blocks and then use all that saved up weight during the last 100 blocks or is it more efficient to get a couple of 20 blocks and starting to save up weight 2-3 days before the last 100 blocks ?

got 4 x 100 blocks today ! Smiley

I'm trying to keep up with all this. I can show you some of the material that was submitted, I was unhappy with much of it so I delayed things on purpose. I'll have a roadmap website up today. We're still in the distribution phase and creating a massive amount of TRON a day. Once we come closer to the end of this, things will look proper and the PR work will go 100%

Okay. As I noted in a previous posting, the demands on your time will escalate and become extreme going forward so you'll need to run this with project management like attention and prioritisation.

A proper ANN and roadmap is fundamental though. It's good and all to be talking about masternodes and whatnot, but sound answers to the questions "What is Positron for? Who will use it? How will it be adopted? Why would someone choose to acquire some Positron?" are the bedrock of whether it has a future or is just another flash in the pan P&D.

I'll fix this wallet confusion and any mistakes in the ANN this morning... sorry for all that, I'm better rested now.

Can you consider making PoS at block 21,000+ , something like 10 or 20 coins per block instead of the 9% per year?
And then in the masternode payments, make the masternodes get 7/10 of those rewards while stakers get 3/10 of those rewards
So the masternode payments and staking payments can be good.
If the masternode payments aren't good then few people will make them.
Its better to make the masternodes payments good so alot of people would want to make masternodes.

Goodness, the naivety being expressed in this thread is alarming.

You don't just go and change the PoS rewards structure at the drop of a hat. People have invested based on what's been published and put forward as this coin's fundamentals. If the dev just choooses to alter things willy nilly, the basis upon which investors have chosen to enter this crypto have substantially changed.

I for one will leave immediately if a change this important to the monetary structure of this currency was just introduced based on someone's 'wishful thinking' post.

In the future we can discuss forking in new distribution phases for group fundraising ONLY IF the entire community votes on it. Not a vote on the forum, something much more coordinating requiring proof of holding TRON.  Please just have patience, this isn't top priority right now.

The lower 9% at 21000 is important, we don't want huge inflation forever. I considered dropping it lower in the future, also.

Masternode specs will be figured out later, I'm going to add a few things to the wallet but focus is on the network and site and etc.

One should realise that you are getting these bonus rewards but the price of Tron is (mostly) being held up by everyone's expectation of a massive pump. During this dynamic PoS period the monetary supply is increasing dramatically (it makes what the Fed's done with QE frankly look like a sunday school picnic). That's no problem if more and more people start buying Tron, there's a clear roadmap that has people enthused and the potential for future adoption that will increase the asset's base is strong. Where all these additional coins will be as useful as if you'd just photoshopped your wallet with a big balance to make yourself feel better is when everyone decides to leave at the same time. And (unfortunately) this has all the hall marks of it.
