Anyone interested in a group buy to the US??

I am going in on 1 each of the loaded ones.

I would like to intervene here a little and remind everyone that we can't sell loaded (L series) to the US. Series E is no problem however.

Awesome project but I still think those graphics are ugly. Are you planning a new series with updated design?

What if we buy them second hand from someone who bought them from the EU?

I got my coins today, they look pretty nice.

Might throw one to be graded for the Shiggles.

Just a quick question tho. I ordered two of each empty coin, and my order was one of the first couple.

I believe when ordered were first placed, it was like a first come, first serve on numbers.
The first 10 or twenty would be distributed to one per person, then the rest would be distributed normally.

I received an E00003 1/100th & E00248 1/100th
But got an E00334 1/10th & E00337 1/10th

*Sorry, just me being picky since I woke up early to try and get some low numbers

Also found a post, in comparison I had order 341.

I've been very busy but here is a quick announcement!

We've had over 50 orders so far, over 500 coins ordered. The first order number for a series L order was #328. The first order number for a series E order was #336.

Some countries have reportedly had abnormally expensive postage fees, we're working hard to fix all of that. Most recent fix was UK, where you can now order up to 20 coins with a cheap postage method.

Here's an overview on the first coins distributed... As you said, one low number per person, that's what you got Smiley

Alright, I was confused Cheesy

Early on we had an idea that we would distribute serial numbers 21-2000 in the sequence of orders made but we reconsidered this because it made the assembly process too difficult. What we did now is that the serial numbers 1-20 were done in sequence and then everything else was more or less random.

And regarding the 1/10, 1/100 issue - the serial numbers are only related to what series the coin is - L or E. There isn't different serials for both 1/10 and 1/100 coins - no possibility of let's say L21 existing for both. It's always either or.

The 1-20 coins were produced based on which coins were ordered by the customer who gets a certain serial. If both 1/10 and 1/100 were ordered, we made a choice. It was most likely a 1/10 in that case.

In terms of how the serials go from 21 and up, we produced the coins 140 at a time. The first normal batch is a smaller one though, it's 21-140. That is a certain type of coin. Then 141-280 is a certain type of coin (either 1/10 or 1/100) etc.

I'm not sure if I explained this well, please ask for clarification if needed.

Precisely, I think that was ezeminer doubt Smiley If low numbers were for series L/E and 1/100+1/10, people would have the chance to have 4 small numbered coins Cheesy That way, one can only have 2 small numbered coins maximum. I think that's a fair distribution and I'm fortunate enough to have two small numbers!

Nice to see that you are on Bitcointalk as well! By the way, why are you holding the coins with your bare hands? You are devaluing them that way. Tongue

Cotton isn't good either. Cotton leaves traces on the coins in my experience. I would advise powder free latex gloves if you want to keep them as clean as possible.

When assembling the coins, we used latex gloves and microfiber clothes. That seemed to be the best combination in terms of assembly convenience and keeping them clean.
