Are any of the custom value coins dated with 2016 instead of 2015? Hello, All brass coins at the moment are dated 2015. No 2016 brass coins produced yet. However as this is now being talked about, I can say that the 1 BTC Silver batch of 250 coins which you guys have been ordering will be a 2016 coin, not 2015. This decision was made because the actual minting was done in 2016, not 2015. Rest assured this will not affect the scarcity of the coins, we will not produce more of the same coin with the 2016 marking. |

Update. We are going to receive the final 1 BTC coin Tuesday at the latest, according to the mint. There are two versions with slightly different design. We will choose the one that looks better. Once we have chosen the version we prefer, it will take only a couple of days for the mint to produce the whole batch. And then we will immediately go to assembly & shipping stage which will only take a few days.
So summa summarum I'd estimate shipping to start around 7th or 8th of March. Again a bit later than our previous estimates but now there shouldn't be much variance any longer. Our previous timetables were our best guesses (which turned out to be very wrong) but this is now a more locked in timetable.
