Your weekly earnings depend on the ammount of masternodes on the network, as the POS fees will be distributed between masternode holders.

Yes, and you might need to meet other requirements to run a masternode (Dash requires static ips for instance)

You will have to set up a .conf file to run your wallet in masternode mode.
