That is exactly what I think. We have had good volume until yesterday. With darksend and some promotions, we can easily attract people. I am buying all I can meanwhile. This price means good profit later on.

I think with the cool features this coin adds to crypto and will attract people.
I think some oldskool video poker games would be nice, or maybe pinnball.
Play Pong against eachother for 8bit. (8bitpong  Grin)
Just trowing it in there guys. I'm not a programmer, but I could do some graphics.

Made a withdraw for a masternode but has not shown up in the wallet can see on the blockchain any ideas when it would show up?

Would it need 251 confirms to show in wallet?

I having the same problem, the wallet its empty and the direction on the blockchain shows the 112 8Bits. What should i do??

so your wallet is empty but the block explorer shows your coins?
then you certainly need to update.. new wallet from yesterday!

I am running on 8bit-qt-2.0-win is this not the latest wallet?

My coins are lost in space - something is not right here... Help please.

Check your wallet is synced to the same block as the block explorer, if needed backup your wallet.dat and redownload the blockchain. Also update you wallet as a new version 2.0 was published yesterday.

I have done this today and got the same.

Deleted everything except wallet.dat downloaded new wallet synced still no coins???

please post txid so we can confirm the coins are on the chain, thanks!

Hello 8Bit Community,

As I've mentioned a few times, promotions are my thing around here, and I will do what it takes to get some people looking into 8Bit.

I want to give a big thanks to Starin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=499402 - For being so helpful to all the newcomers in the thread, and for his time he put in creating www.8bitcoin.org

Also big thanks to Crypto_graphics https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=384621 - For brainstorming ideas with me, and knocking out some killer graphics for the thread, and www.8bitcoin.org website.

Promotions/Contest/Giveaways in the works and I need you guys ( the community ) to help pitch in to bring this all together.

I am listing a donation address ( 8bit & Bitcoin ) and your name ( if wanted ) will be recognized on the 8Bitcoin.org website if you decide to donate.

Any donation counts, and these donations will be used for Promotions/Contest/Giveaways. Donate what you can, dust or gold...it's still the thought that counts.

How many % pos staking reward right now Huh
very high! as i already calculated:

when you have coins in your wallet and stake, you will get 300% per year
( so you multiply it with a factor of 4 )
( when 50% of the network do stake )

but if you have 112 coins and create a masternode , you will get 1930 % per year
( yes you multiply it with a factor of 20 )
( when we have 200 masternodes )
( factor of 10 when we have 400 masternodes etc...)

but you also have to have in mind that this is a very high inflation!
we have now 100000 coins, but each month it will be 50000 more!
we have to see if this money is sold, or put into new masternodes!

Did you try repairwallet in console?
Try to start the wallet with -rescan
or start the wallet with -salvagewallet
Be sure to make a backup of wallet.dat before you do

Here is a guide for setting up multiple masternodes on the same machine:

This is proof that I am running 8 masternodes on the same machine.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

Make sure that each node is using its own wallet.dat.

You will be using a .bat file to launch each node except node1, which you launch using 8bit-qt
You create a .bat just like you would a .conf, but with the .bat extension of course.

Also, when launching a wallet for the first time, set masternode=0 in the .conf file
Use the command "masternode genkey" for each wallet once you have launched with masternode=0.

Send exactly 112 coins to the new wallet address and paste your masternode's private key in the .conf file.
Then close the wallet, set masternode=1, and assign a different port to your masternode than the others.

Then, relaunch the wallet using your .bat file and wait until your deposit of 112 coins has at least 16 confirms.
After you have 16 confirms, go back to the console and type "masternode start"

You should receive a message, "masternode started successfully"

Make sure you open any ports you want to use on your router.

Sorry this isn't super descriptive.  If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask.

I felt like having a visual aid might help some of you.

If I helped you out:  8FAi73E6iFLtzocfcLCvd5ZfVq643eo9Ui

Even dust is appreciated.  Good luck!

for each 8bit node in the roaming folder did you copy and paste the data from the previous folder? You mentioned that each wallet should have its own wallet.dat file and i'm not entirely sure what you meant by that.

Copy everything but the wallet.dat and it will generate a new one once you open the client for the first time.
