Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?
You control the people if you control their money! Bitcoin is not easy to control. It's not a matter of trust but a matter of control. It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.
^^^ That. And because they cannot control your money, they cannot make you their slave. And if they cannot make you their slave, they raise wars claiming terrorist attacks or whatever.

It's not that they don't trust Bitcoin, it's because it's decentralized and they like things centralized and under their control at all times.
Chances are that in the future they will create their own crypto currencies for even better control of you financials. Even though I doubt they will keep a public ledger.

Because they are just figuring it out? They will come around.
When the first VCRs came out there were a lot of people who wanted them banned. Almost all of the early adoption came from porn. Many could not see beyond this one use of the device, just as many look at BTC and think Silk Road is the reason it's popular.

The concept of bitcoin is new to many countries..so they don't trust it.. And if the Government is corrupted then they will never accept the bitcoins But i think Government should get involved into bitcoins and start adopting and accepting it and also make aware the society about it.

I think we will have banks taking an explicit stand on Bitcoin, and governments will follow. We should expect banks to 'figure it out', before the government does.

There are many reasons : 1. Transparancy { A lot of the more corrupt governments cannot accept a currency, where every transaction is published openly for EVERYONE to see on the Blockchain } 2. Governments needs to manipulate currencies { Reserve banks determine how stong your currency can be, according to their moneratary policies } The Core Bitcoin protocol is fixed. 3. Anonymity {Most countries does not have the abilities to identify Bitcoin users} and this pose as a threat for security { Terrorism funding and Money Laundering and Crime etc.. } 4. Some governments want to protect the consumers from fraud / theft etc.. { It's not easy to track and retrieve stolen/hacked coins } 5. Other governments just want to protect the value of their own currency. { Money exchange and remittance } 6. Do not forget, that huge fiat financial organizations are backing politicians { Who pay for the election campaigns? } There you have some of the reasons.

my worry is that some governments that are corrupted, may start to accept it for an illegal things, trampling the little good image that has remained of bitcoin

Bitcoin will have its fight with government, but bitcoin is as transparent as it gets and as anonymous as it gets, transparent in the sense all the transactions are in public for the involved and known parties but anonymous from the preying eyes of unknown parties such as the government, bitcoin is found on the principle of freedom that comes with decentralization which the government cannot take away.

And It's very difficult to find honest Government in any part of the world. In fact they are afraid that bitcoin will take over on fiat money and banking systems. But I think now time has come that Government should accept that bitcoin is the future international currency.

Bitcoin is still ethereal and mysterious to many people. Many people get their news from the press, hearing the talks about the illegal activities and the rise and crash of the price. If any acceptance is to happen it will have to be after a renewal of information.
That's true bad news travel faster then good news. People are just looking at the news that media is providing them and they just start to believe it without any research or investing their knowledge in it and Government is supporting media to do so as Govt is also against the bitcoin.

The people who publish the news rarely publish positive stories because they bore people. They publish negative stories about crime, violence and drugs because people want to read those types of stories. There are positive and negative sides to Bitcoin use, but the news is only interested in publishing stories about the negative side.

bitcoin is a digital currency . it is money in the digital world. inorder to make it stable currency it should be utilized by many number of people for a longer time. when something becomes famous it is automatically used by several other people. the government will recognize its value when the whole world starts using it and hence it will be stable.

When the government has recognize bitcoin, he will ask the high tax for that. Government always make a tax for anything from his people. I think bitcoin doesn't need intervention from government.
