Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

First reason is the scams that still circulating in the market . I think it is the main reason why the government has a trust issue in cryptocurrency and as we all know bitcoin or every coin in the market has a complex process so the government doesn't have enough idea on how to regulate it to become a official currency in the whole world.

but only partly thought that it was illegal. well, we know, there are still many governments who support the development of bitcoin in their country. it's just that some countries refuse to develop it.

the government still does not trust and think if bitcoin is detrimental to the state's finances, now bitcoin is only underestimated by many countries only a few countries that have legalized bitcoin, but it is not necessary to worry because we have no problems with it and we still will can continue to have bitcoin.

The government does not want any currency that can not be controlled therefore they banned bitcoin.

Some government officials are against Bitcoin but some of them are just fine on it. As of the moment, Bitcoin is still not use legally worldwide maybe because government are afraid about the economic or maybe because Bitcoin is a threat for banks.

Well i think the world's government does not believe in bitcoin but the government is looking for a solution so that bitcoin can be understood by the whole community especially with different backgrounds of different communities so that it's still a lot of that in the government to legalize bitcoin because bitcoin is the eye digital money that can not be set by anyone either government or other institutions. And also there are government in other countries are keep on trying to eliminate the bitcoin but still they dont know how to do it or they dont know how to get rid of it because it is digital.

Well you cant blame the government because most of the time you cant say that there will be a Good income in bitcoin or any cryptocurrency the volatility itself makes the cryptocurremcy more complicated. Making a profit to it is like a gamble thats why some government dont want to gamble for their people to invest with it maybe some will success but some are not governement wants only a sure success for their people and theyre country.

okay here some of the reasons why government still does not accept and trust bitcoin, first, we are in the early stage of cryptocurrency and they need to research about it of what are the pros and cons of using cryptocurrency and 2nd, bitcoin payment can be used to avoid money laundering and this can be used by drug lords, mafia, gambling lord as a means of payment since this is decentralized and the government cannot track the transactions unlike back that you have paper trail.

I think that government is just too lazy for making a research and actually find out, how positive bitcoin can be for them

Perhaps the Government stated the reason for banning bitcoin for fear that investments into large bitcoins could reduce investment to the national real sector.

because bitcoin is considered price manipulation, that's why the government can not accept bitcoin as currency or transaction. because the price changed. as well as in my country. government rejects bitcoin as a transaction. but do not rule out the future bitcoin will be accepted

bitcoin is so worth the price it deserves the government not to legalize bitcoin because the government is afraid of going to beat the currency in their country by bitcoin.

Government dont trust on cryptocurrency like bitcoin because they can not control it. Bitcoin can impact on bank bussiness and thats why central banks wont let bitcoin for payment.
Central banks so far have privelege to print money without proper audit and with bitcoin they can not do that any more because bitcoin have limited supply and no one authorities can control the supply

Now the government is not giving any respect to Bitcoin. But there will be a time when the government without bitcoin can not run, I hope so. Then all government officials will be given salary by bitcoin.Because if the government approves this work, they will be benefited. The government will be able to get a specific VAT for this.

I easily understand that The concept of bitcoin is new to many countries.then they are don't trust it.. But i think that Government should get involved into bitcoins and start adopting and accepting it and also make aware the society about it.thanks

It is because bitcoin is a stranger to them.  They do not know it,  making them not trusting it. Also,  there are many frauds that are using the name of bitcoin in their selfish plans like what happens in our country where a couple use the name of bitcoin. They tell their clients that they will earn the triple of their investments in bitcoin. But again,  it is a scam. These frauds make the government afraid of bitcoin.

Maybe, The goverment afraid the bitcoin will be used illegal activities. Because the government cannot control bitcoin over.
