I am not in control here - But I'm always happy to keep people as up to date as possible.

I don't like where this expectant attitude is going. I am not here to be helpful to you. I thought i'd be nice and keep you guys in the loop but from now on you can wait for the dev account to post on a matter. If you want to be part of the Investors Club then you can buy 25,000 coins or more like the rest of us. There will be no further communication on any matter before the dev account posts on it.

That didn't last long  Roll Eyes

Hey folks,

The forking issues has been fixed. Please download the new wallet from the OP. In addition, don't forget to do a full resync from scratch. That means delete everything except for wallet.dat, and then start your wallet. I have removed the revamped wallets as they are of an older protocol. Remember, do not click any download links replied to this thread, as most likely they are phishing links.

Regards,
Team Neutron

Does anyone know when bittrex will fix their wallet? I lost some coins sent to a wallet there during the fork and was hoping it would appear there after the fork was fixed.

The coin Neutron have had trouble with synching. This is claimed to be becaused of code taken from this coin Positron. Here is tips to correct the code.

I originally added a parameter to the function to pass the block height, but later found it wasn't needed during my testing.

TRON hasn't had any syncing problems, we had a short fork during the POW phase but I resolved it with ocminer from Suprnova within a few minutes.

The more likely problem for your sync is the outgoing maxconnections variable in net.cpp. The defaults are really low and seednodes and pools should always increase them. Neutron's default outgoing connection # is only 16:

https://github.com/teamneutron/Neutron/blob/master/src/net.cpp#L28

The reason a lot of these high POS coins are having problems connecting or syncing is because so many wallets are staking now and demanding more node connections. That variable needs to be increased to like 1024 for your main seed nodes, then recompile.

I'm glad to see someone took over the failing neutron project and made something of it.

Good luck.

Do pools and seednodes have more connections than 16?

Why wasn't it necessary to increase the number of outgoing connections?

Not every wallet needs that much outgoing connections, just the seednodes...

Just a reminder that a new wallet was posted a couple of hours ago, in the OP. Please update, and don't forget to do a full resync (delete everything except for wallet.dat).

Also, I would like to set up a donation address to fund development.

Just a notice: all donations sent will be used for paying for development. There are certain aspects- if not many aspects- of development that I cannot undertake solo, therefore funds will be used to hire other developmental partners. Donations will judge how long it takes to deliver a promised development, the quality, and other aspects. As of this moment, I am paying from my pocket Smiley

Donation address is in the OP and in my signature.

You sounded JUST like my little 8 y/o kid there BigDaddySherman... lol

WHAT ON EARTH would being part of the "Investors Club" have to do with you comment and for you to mention it again?? C'mon... If you're welthy enough or whatever it is, to have bought 25k or more coins, GOOD FOR YOU!! I don't need that... I need ppl that don't need to be thanked for everything they do, I need ppl that no matter how many coins they have, are one more here... And to me, with all due respect, you are "above all us" and THAT, is not helpfull at all, no matter how you look at it...

Once again, I told you in my earlier post, I don't see where this huge amount of info you have disclosed so kindly to us is. So I guess I wont find much difference not getting any more...

Ah, and thnxs for making this, another classist coin... in which if you have lots, you are better then the rest and can do things, that other mortals can't do... lol

Cheers!

PS: Dev, thnxs for the new wallet. Testing...

Do I know anyone?? Does anyone know me??
