The reason for the long POW is so that Network of miners and users is maintained, just like many other Cryptos and the Crypto king BTC.

The reward had to be reduced so that BATA could have a cap of 5 Million coins and still have the network to back it up in the long run.

Make no mistake, BTA is not a get rich scheme. No wild promises. No Premine. Pure and Simple Cryptocurrency.

Scrypt in my opinion is the most underated Algo out there. There are masses of miners out there with ASIC Scrypt machines which if used wisely can make long term gains make short term dumping laughable. In short it offers a large powerful network, which is waiting ready to be utilised.
