Please being me up to speed. What is the difference between an electrum windows wallet and standard windows wallet? Is it a simple launch like standard windows wallet? Should the average crypto user change, and be able to use it like the regular Dark Dark wallet?

the electrum windows wallet does not store the blockchain on the client side. once i build the i2p and tor electrum servers,

the electrum wallet can connect to them and not have their ip transmitted across the network.

Is the actual wallet stored on the users computer like the standard DogeDark wallet? Or is the wallet web based? Also is it easy enough for most regular windows users to use, that are familiar with the standard wallet?

you set a seed i think a set of words as a mnemonic rule for a wallet that resides on the web. the only thing you need to remember is this seed.

testing the android wallet in irc  

android + orbot + android wallet + doged electrum tor server = private/anon doged android wallet.

this is the plan, and so it shall be done...

ok so ive successfully built the android wallet, it creates addresses and a qr code, just isnt reading incoming transactions, but i know why..

should have it ready in the next day or two =]

an iOS wallet is almost complete as well, but that one will be a little different. it will need a dogecoindarkd wallet hosted somewhere, that is accessible thru ssh

then you can put in your ssh credentials into the app and it will communicate with it, which is great from a security/privacy standpoint, but not so great for ease of use.

if not, you should use the clearnet nodes:

theres no way to build tor's vidalia or i2p into the actual wallet, as of now, but believe me, it will be implemented as soon as its possible!

our electrum servers are going to be put on i2p and tor, so all platforms can use them easily with privacy.

we have a ton of things being released soon lol

tor & i2p electrum servers (since we just released electrum clients and server)
iphone wallet (almost done, working on right this second, connects to ssh daemon, can be put on i2p making it first iphone anon wallet)
android wallet (90 percent done, just needs one issue with parsing incoming transactions. the making addresses and qrcodes part already works.)
android wallet + tor/i2p electrum servers = private/anon android wallet (literally will take me maybe 2-3 hours each, just costs me money, but ill get it done soon)
all of our tipbots (steam, reddit, twitter, and irc chat) will be put on i2p nodes, making them anon transfer points.

then eventually i take the darknets a step further for more obfuscation, and continue working on privacy/security on our current software/services.

what would you like to see implemented?
