OK, so I finally figured out how to run two wallets on the same computer. Now I can put my proceeds in the 2nd wallet and stake, rather than have them sit there and do nothing or move to the exchange and sell. But I noticed that when I set up the batch file, I had to set listen=0. I gather I have to do more to get a second MN up and running. I'll have to sift through the thread for the crave link someone posted earlier...

If you can get two wallets running on the same computer running two masternodes isn't much harder. I think the biggest thing you gotta do is have different port= and rpcport= in you conf file.

mine did something similar when I first tried setting up MN almost like I'd jumped onto my own fork. After a complete restart all the 100 shell credits became rejects.

mine did something similar when I first tried setting up MN almost like I'd jumped onto my own fork. After a complete restart all the 100 shell credits became rejects.

It is becouse 50 goes to MN and 50 to stake holders.
Everithing is all right.

If I've understood correctly I need to do the following things, in sequence:

1) download the wallet (done)
2) create the conf file, in the roaming folder, with the following settings (done)

3) get the "ValueGeneratedByGenKeyCommand" (What need I to do, precisely?)
4) send 25K to the wallet
5) enable MN in the config file to 1
6) restart the wallet, so it will work

Could you please help me?

send the 25k coins to a fresh address in your wallet and use the command dumpprivkey with this fresh address to get the key.
Shut down the wallet put the key in the conf and change masternode=0 to masternode=1 save conf and restart wallet.

*This is an error caused by a bug in darksend.

How can I use the command "dumpprivkey" in the wallet?

3 type 'masternode genkey' in debug console.
4 send 25K to the COLLATERAL ADDRESS given when you create the masternode in the wallet. ('Shellnodes' menu > 'my shell nodes' tab > 'create' button.

u dont need the line

u just need
port=12454 or something open the port on ur router if needed

i never used the line masternodeaddr= on all of my nodes...got 4 mn on shell and few other...

this is all u need

rpcport=some that is open that u want to use
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

port=
masternode=0 (set it to 1 before starting the masternode)

If I type masternode start, it says:

ot capable masternode: Could not connect to MYip(omissis):9999

I should have some issues with the Port settings..

Do you know how to set the correct port value? Is it a value that I need to find in my router settings, or is it possible to use a general, open, one? I'm not experienced with routers, unfortunately. If it works, I'll give you 0.05BTC

I've found this useful guide

Click on the Gravitator tab in the wallet.
Click on "My Gravitator Nodes"
Click on "Create..."
Put your name of your masternode as the Alias and put your IP with :9999 next to it. so for example xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9999
Then click ok
next you click on that masternode and you click on "Get Config"
Then you copy that and put it in your graviton.conf
replace the thing that says "port=" with "port=31321"
and put in the conf "staking=0"
and enter a random words different for each one in the things that say "REPLACEME"
then save the conf in your graviton appdata folder.
then start your wallet again
send exactly 25000 coins to the masternode's address
then wait for atleast 11 confirmations
and then go to "Help", "Debug window", "Console"
and then enter "masternode start"
or you can go to the gravitators tab in the wallet then click on your masternode and then click "Start" or "Start all"
the import thing to do in your qt wallet is also go to "Settings" and "Options" and put the "Reserve" as 99999999999 so it doesn't stake at all
Then wait and you should recieve the masternode payments.

If I use this format, instead

.. it gives this one:

12:58:36 masternode start

u have to forward the port on ur router

u just need to login in ur router interface and forward the port for example 9999 to ur computer where the wallet runs...after this it should work
