Well next use an SSD drive for dramatically faster performance.

I am currently synchronizing the Sia-Wallet. At 40% it took 2GB yet. So I assume it will take about 5Gb altogether. How will this handled in the future? I mean Sia is still young. In one year it's maybe 10 GB of space. Some people may want to use Sia because they don't have any free space on their drive. It's kind of ironic. Is there any plan to deal with this?

Get another HD for more free space.

What is the point of Sia then...
The blockchain is currently less than 4.5Gb. That is a small size that can be handled by any computer. BTC blockchain is 125Gb, for instance. Next update (v1.3), that will be released in the very next days, will accelerate the initial download. And in the future, dev team or independent devs can develop light wallets for certain case-uses. But as with any crypto, the safest way is to store your coins is a client that can verify the full blockchain instead of trusting on a 3rd party that could be manipulating your transactions

Where did you hear that? There's nothing on the SIA road map about it.

Where did you hear that? Devs do not check Bitcointalk, but are very active at the Slack and at the Reddit Sia usually releases quarterly updates. v1.3 ("Capricorn") was meant for June, but probably due to overlap with the pre-sale of the Obelisk ASIC, it has been delayed a bit more than usual. However "Release Candidate 2" is already available for testing purposes ( https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/comments/6jnqn8/sia_v130_beta_rc2_try_out_the_upcoming_release/?st=j4g60v1w&sh=8f6f95af), what means the final release will be very soon. Last week devs said most probably this week or the next one. The roadmap actually states a an update for June ;-)

Sia UI can be downloaded here: http://sia.tech/apps/. Once downloaded you can open it and create a wallet address. Syncing the blockchain will take a while. You can buy SiaCoins on Bittrex or Poloniex and transfer them to the Sia UI wallet.

I've just noticed that Sia is the next big thing after Ethereum, it is the new era of cloud storage. Stay with Sia for years to be happy.

Actually it took SIA just a year after mining has started to become pretty big project with high and stable coin price... More will come 500 +- sato is still not much at all, a lot of room to grow!

Sia is as undervalued as it is disruptive. Easily has what it tales to be worth as much as the most valuable coins in the crypto market and defiantly has the tech to take on the giants of the cloud storage industry (they should be worried). It has a great team with a clear vision of what they want and where they want to take Sia. Its defiantly a solid buy and hold imo. Looking forward to big things from this tech and team in the near future.
