Too bad that storage utilization is only 2%. If this percent will grow in the future then it'll translate into a natural grow for the coin. Like the idea anyway.

I like SIA, I love the technology and possible applications to enterprise. I think that in the next few years there's going to be amazing growth in this sector and that it is *smart* to be there, here and now, to carve your market. However I've been reading the past few pages of this discussion and something was made very apparent, at least, to me... I'm talking as a business owner (20+ years) and not as an investor (own exactly 0 SiaCoins). I think that, at this point in time, unmitigated "investor angst" is very quickly turning into reputational damage. Reputational damage, damage to your Brand, is extremely hard to recover from, even harder that early in the game. There are disappointed investors out there attacking the brand because they lost money... damage to your Brand is what you should be worried about because this will absolutely jeopardize Client Adoption and Retention down the line, which is exactly what you need. I understand that the team doesn't see SiaCoin as a speculative vehicle and are beyond tired of hearing calls for news or updates just to pump the price (I would be sick and tired of hearing that too), but the hard fact is that for a lot of people out there, SiaCoin is merely an investment, and I think a holistic/global approach that combines the view that SiaCoin is an investment + meant to be used on the network, not just one or the other, but both, would be beneficial and create VALUE for everyone involved. That's where a dedicated Investor relations or PR person would come in... Just sharing scome thoughts with you all In crypto space investors/speculators playing fud games is the norm, so is scam coins pumping high on false promises and vaporware. Crypto history is full of proven scams and dodgy projects pumping high, and some like DASH and Larimer projects have shacken off the scam history and suffer no obvious reputational damage despite very shady histories. With SIA we have a great project, with no hint of scams or dodgy behaviour from the dev team, and their reputations are first class. Whinging investors leading to reputational damage is laughable

Just sharing some thoughts with you all I would just correct one sentence: "for a lot of people out there, SiaCoin is merely an SPECULATIVE ASSET" Most people ou there don't care about any project, except for the hype it can make to boost prices.

I registred because of that part of your response. I agree completely and hope that developers will understand that coin's price, technology, reputations and so on are all communicating vessels. Keep my fingers fixed for the project. Cheers.

I'm sure SC are super cheap now. I would buy some, but I don't have free BTC now. I hate greedy ICO and filecoin is very very greedy.

That's one of the reasons I sold almost all of my siacoins to invest at filecoin.

I mean, I understand mechanics of hype but your statement cries for a check. Sia has already working product as a result of months of developments.

Filecoin is the flavor of the day but in the end Sia will reign supreme.

Filecoin didn't deliver anything yet, too early to tell what it'll be. Look also at maidsafe, after more than 3 years, product is still not finished (but idea also very nice). Sia is a working piece of software, unfortunately not widely known and used. I become a small host couple of days ago, I know that I won't make too much money out of it, but trying to support the idea behind this coin.

$SC has to do better than 180 sats with an actual product on the market.

Let me try with my crystal ball. BTC will drop back to 3500 in few days and SC will recover to 250+ sato I don't know about filecoin much, but I really can see that they are very greedy and this is huge disadvantage. You don't need 250 mil for development, no way.

Filecoin, made a big video with some deep music full of hope and world changing sentences.... They received a lot of funding and will distribute a lot of filecoins, the hopes are high for a ROI, only future sellers there.
Siacoin delivered a tech and keep doing it mine or share to earn it. Which one do you think can rise, I think it's a no brainer here...
