Good morning guys!
Any news here?
Haven't seen much since the last update, but I'm staking like a mofo!

Good morning guys!
Any news here?
It looks like it is getting to be time for an update. I've been working on the GUI for the pump group. Since my last update, most of my work has been to put in an address selector when the user clicks "Find Address..." This functionality allows the selection of a specific address if the user has several. A screenshot is below. The selector is a pop-up window that displays addresses and their balances. The user selects the address by using the check boxes on the left. When the user hits "OK", the dialog closes and the fields "Starting Balance" and "Address" are automatically filled from the selection. This dialog is full featured, with a context menu and sorting. It may seem like overkill, but the functionality to see your addresses sorted by balance does not exist in any bitcoin client that I know of, either from the console or in the GUI. That means that this dialog will have some functionality that will be generally useful. Also, it may seem like this small feature took an inordinate amount of time. But we should consider that ethereum launched without a GUI of any sort, and they had over $1,000,000 to work with. The reason: writing GUIs is very time intensive, especially if done correctly. I'll try to speed up, but there are few things worse than a buggy user interface. Just this address selector required 4 new source files and about 500 lines of new code. I'll make sure what I build works well, even if it takes more time than I would like. In the meantime, we are looking at coins to pump. Please join the slack channel if you have suggestions.

Wow, this is an awesome update. You are certainly taking the time to do a lot of things that most wouldn't even consider, let alone spend the time refining.

That's going to be handy even without a pump group. I have a couple of other wallets with a zillion addresses and it's hard to see what balances I have. You can use a wallet like to keep track of many different accounts if it has the tools. For some reason they don't. I can easily see this feature as being repurposed, maybe with address labels so we can tell what's what. I know that's probably not in the plans right now, but it's a step towards turning our wallets into accounting systems. I'm going to register for the slack right now. Live4Crypto: check your PMs.

Mandatory Update Version 1.1.0.0 - Flat Staking Reward! After great consideration, we are releasing an update that will fundamentally change staking for Synergy. The change is very simple in that block rewards will be a flat 1 SNRG for about 8 years. Obviously, this idea comes from Hi-PoS. It has also been implemented as the long term PoS system for a coin that I can't remember right now. So yes, we stole the idea. But I like to think that it is intelligent to have a good idea but brilliant to recognize it as such. The flat block reward should ease staking management for users in that consolidation transactions are unnecessary. The flat block reward should also strengthen the network. For users, it means that the stake splitting helps to increase rewards rather than reduce them, as with an interest rate based system. For the network, it means that users have more of an incentive to stake smaller transactions, which increases the network stake weight considerably. It also means that there is a strong incentive to keep wallets open and staking, even with the relatively short maximum age that Synergy already enforces. After 8 years, the inflation rate (not interest rate) reduces to a fixed 1.566% per year. At this time, the block reward will reset to about 0.155 SNRG and increase very slowly. The table below shows the yearly inflation rate for the next 10 years. These block rewards are based on the money supply, which is a new idea to my knowledge. (Alas, investors get a little innovation with this update!) Also, investors should be assured that the few lines of code that went into this update do not represent my only work on Synergy for these last couple of weeks. We do have further improvements in the pipeline. I should mention that the inflation schedule significantly rewards early adopters who also stake. Changes will go into effect in 2 weeks, so update now! Mac and Windows are linked in the OP and web site. My absolute next task for Synergy is to make a Linux Qt wallet for this release. I forgot to do that for the Turbo Stake Dashboard release, but I will do it for this release before I do any further development. We will also get Megaupload links available within 24 hours for users who live in countries that block access to google. This latter issue was recently brought to our attention. Inflation Rate, 10 Year Year | Inflation Rate | 1 | 40.00% | 2 | 28.57% | 3 | 22.22% | 4 | 18.18% | 5 | 15.38% | 6 | 13.33% | 7 | 11.76% | 8 | 10.53% | 9 | 1.566% | 10 | 1.566% | Thereafter | 1.566% |

I have been asked on the slack channel for release estimates. What follows is my response, cross-posted.
I wish I could say with certainty how long it will be for release, but my very rough guess is 2-3 weeks. These pumps need to be easy to participate in from the end-user's perspective. That means a well functioning user interface.
The enrollment address selector took much more time than I thought. My next step is to work on the stealth address selector. I know a little better what I'm doing from my work on the enrollment address, so I anticipate it will be quicker to make the stealth address selector. The reason these selectors take so long is that building table views takes a lot of code for any gui toolkit if one follows the MVC paradigm, which I am doing fully.
The rest of the fields to join will be auto-filled, which shouldn't take long because no GUI tables are involved. I will write the code to send the enrollment transaction such that it automatically selects the previous output. It will sacrifice the least stake weight. In the future, I may try to allow coin control for this selection, but this small feature will not be available for the next release.
From there, I will move to the rest of the fields in the top panel of the pump page. The difficult aspect of this section is to scan transactions for encrypted messages to the enrollment stealth address and display the relevant information. Fortunately I have already written the back-end code for the "Minimum Balance" field. The associated functionality can be used in your wallet right now with the console command "getaddressbalancebyblock".

To keep users informed in a consistent manner, I have decided to provide updates when I complete each of my to-do items for this release. My latest to-do is the stealth address selector, which turned out to be very quick because the MVC code for the address tables are already available in the code base. A screen shot is below. To use it, the operator hits the "Set..." button to the right of the "Stealth Address" heading and selects a stealth address. If one is not available, the dialog permits one to be made with the "New Address" button. If the user mistakenly selects a normal address, the user will be warned of the error. If the user selects a stealth address, it will be automatically entered into the appropriate field in the form. Next step will be to code the "Autofill" functionality and create the transaction to join.
