yes. I tell Bitcoin to my friends and they all do not understand even do not believe. want to tell them because it is profitable  Not everybody will get it at first. But in the long run, everybody will be using it, even without noticing it! You will see! |

I don't recommend it to any of my friends because I know none of them would really be interested in it and I don't want to bear the burden if they invest and it looses them money. However, I can then be smug when if in the future it does rise in value considerably and they then wish they had of bought some but as we can see bitcoin is not a guaranteed money making investment currently.

catch is you are screwed either way...I told them so I could tell them end of 2013........and they think I'm quite mad! now if BTC takes off I will catch crap for not explaining the whole process good enough to them and did not convice them to join (say about end of 2016) I'm frigging doomed either way ..you did not tell them you are screwed if it works and they could have gotten in (possible) you tell them and it works also screwed because obviously you did not inform them well enough for them to understand and get in crap I'm so screwed So the only way I can get out of this with my friends/family is it all BTC and ALTS crash and burn so they can 'comfort me on my loss' and tell me I was deluded but better to find out they were right...the only end game w/o er ..shouting (I mean btc goes to 1k again I'll have to leave town!) again soooo screwed on this ..shoulda not said a frigging word and just talk to myself |

sadly bitcoin is mostly considered as an investment instead of some sort of currency and a new and better way of payments. and while this is the mentality of people and the price is low and price history currently shows a downward trend and a stable state, people are not going to invest and since they most people don't consider it a currency they don't buy and use bitcoin either. |

They look at it as too time consuming and unnecessary. This will change with time though, as Bitcoin becomes more simplified to use and more retailers accept Bitcoin. Then people will start to see the advantages Bitcoin has over regular fiat, and more will hopefully start using Bitcoin. |

Try to make some earning by yourself than show off to your friend and then your friend will start interest for it. For the first attempt, can try to treat your classmate or office friend some food because you're using bitcoin instead your own money. |
