I wonder when the miners (kilo17) with the too high hashrates leave. There is nothing to earn for them this way.
Kilo17 you are not the smartest guy I've ever met.
I have lowered my hash rate several times, everytime the rewards increase someone rents a bunch of hash and kills it-- so I think it is better to keep it like it is, I have no intentions of dumping my coins, but I bet the person that comes in and screws up the difficulty when I lower the hash rate is not planning on keeping his.... If you would like to discuss what the best way to handle that is, I would be more inclined to discuss it without your insulting posts in large print cheers.... You have over 40% of the net hashrate, retard. There are 3 choices here- Go rent some hash, go mine another coin or STFU - why does every thread need to get screwed up by idiots like ALTCOIN11

then you are left with 2 choices-- mine another coin or STFU - either way stop cluttering up the thread with your whining

Renting more hash gives me less coins, retard. Why would I pay to get less?
your attitude is ridiculous and you're a lot less right than you think you are. at the end of the day we all get the same reward and the biggest miner gets the biggest piece. if the coin ever becomes worth anything, that makes him the winner. also for all you know he's playing you and he got 10-20 of the solo blocks and is running the reward down for everyone else. not likely but who knows.

OP says Block reward is controlled by: 444444444/(((Difficulty+2600)/9)^2) starting from block 2000. Before Block 2000, reward is higher

This may seem like an ignorant question but the block reward is "controlled by" that equation, but it is not that equation, correct?
example-- if the difficulty is 20 then that equation would be
(20+2600/9)^2 = 84,745.6787
444,444,444/84,745.6787 = 5244.45
I assume that will not be the block reward itself so I am wondering how that relates to the block reward
- from page 2 I think it would be 55 or 15 but I am not a coder by any means
thanks in advance

Right now the minimum reward structure is 1 HEDG The reward system after block 2000 is nSubsidy = (22222.0 / (pow((dDiff+51.0)/6.0,2.0))); if (nSubsidy > 500) nSubsidy = 500; if (nSubsidy < 25) nSubsidy = 25;
So the minimum reward is 25 HEDG. The max is 500 HEDG. From block 7000 the reward is nSubsidy = (44444444.0 / (pow((dDiff+2600.0)/9.0,2.0))); if (nSubsidy > 25) nSubsidy = 55; if (nSubsidy < 5) nSubsidy = 15;
So minimum drops to 15 HEDG, and maximum drops to 55 HEDG.

I have been mining since the start, it states there will be an estimated 33 million coins. With the varying rewards how many blocks will there be in total? Or is there and and date for POW I think I missed this in the OP.

Hedgecoin has a maximum theoretical limit of approximately ~21 million coins by 2050 with a slow issuing curve. However, the real number of coins can be reduced to something close to 15million due to quick drops on the rewards. The theoretical maximum coins is rated at 33m

Block rewards after block 2000 seem to be much bigger at the existing level of difficulty. Reward jumped to over 100 per block. Miners piling on.

★★★ UPDATE ★★★ Tomorrow we will release our plans for the HedgeFund. 75% of the premine will be reserved for the HedgeFund features for the next years to come. Be sure to catch some blocks at higher reward levels atm!
