I was just in the trollbox asking about what happens to the CIRC that may be sold into the buywall if people sell into it. What happens to those coins is what I was wondering, I've now been advised but i'm still reconfirming but it appears those coins get given back to the dev team....  Angry

They dont get the btc but they get free CIRC.

I think the devs need to make a decission to burn any coins that may be sent to them from the ico.

It's the right thing to do. No reason for the devs to get a stack of their coins for free from ccex buy walls and it makes good to everyone who invested and paid for their coins.

I seconds this motion!
Devs pls make a statement that you will burn any coins given to the team for free.

If they get less BTC, then any CIRC sold back to them aren't exactly free.

They are free... Devs need to burn them. Plain and simple.

That doesn't make sense.  They get less BTC.  How are they free?

If they wanted free coins, they could have bought all they wanted at 5500 satoshis and been refunded the BTC.

If the situation arrises that we receieve any free coins from the buy back period, we will have those coins sent to the burning address by CCEX and they will notify the public accordingly.

Make sure to get your coins staking immediatly to get the most transactions possible. This will help your opportunities of getting more rewards with vDPOS.

Thanks,

Ok...........I guess we should all just dump our vDPOS stakes into that buywall for the next 5 days.  Still not seeing how those coins could be considered free, but by agreeing to burn those coins for whatever reason, the buywall has become nothing more than a rebate wall.

It deters dumpers by raising the mkt cap thereby making the coin more valuable by dumping.
5k coins just hit the 50% buy wall, you can subtract those from the total coin total.

I also agree this would be the correct thing do and keep everyone on an even footing.

I bought more today after realizing that I wont get them for less then the ICO ask.
I wish I just bought them from the ICO and not paid 6K tho. Why did I listen to the trolls promising cheap coins minutes after the launch.

Bows to your knees.

"we are not worthy"

Amazing decision devs. Hearing and seeing decisions like this solidifies my position in this coin and my respect for the team behind the scenes.

Thank you

I might have missed it in the OP, but how old do coins need to be in wallet before they begin staking? 8 hours, or something else?

Usually its 8 hrs. Not 100% sure on this coin due to the fact I just now saw this blowing up my twitter feed. Lovely wallet and pretty smart devs form the sound of it. Burning any coins they get on the buy way. Never heard of any doing that. I'm sold. Too bad it's not at ico prices.

Good move otherwise you would get a red tag for being scamers and having free ico coins.

2 concerns right now, wallet isn't staking and ive had my coins in for multiple hours.

How does the dev intend to market this coin? I mean its one thing to launch features now but to have more people know about it is another thing.

Whats the plan?

5k coins just hit the 50% buy wall, you can subtract those from the total coin total.

That makes those coins free to the dev team...........how?  If everyone just starts dumping their DPOS into that wall, we all get to keep our initial share of coins, and get a rebate on the price.  Don't see how that deters dumping, nor was that the purpose of the buywall in the first place.

Whatever, the dev team agreed.  It's not hurting me any but they might regret agreeing to it so quickly because I expect that buywall to catch a steady stream of dumping for the next 5 days.
