virus total doesn't always mean clean it can have custom virus inside it. you need to always use a sandbox.

I have a question and it's probably my novice status but
if there are only 700 blocks found at 10 per block - thats's
7000 coins but the rich list has 30000 coins in just the top 4

That feature doesn't work well. the richlist comes from sling, skullbuzz is also a sling clone with the same thing and the balances are off. Your best bet is getinfo wich currently is moneysupply" : 7020.00000000,
