Bitcoin and Litecoin are not fungible, like a currency MUST be. It also does not offer private transactions. Do you want everyone to know every transaction you are ever involved in, how much you get paid, how much tax you pay, etc?

Bitcoin will be great, and may give you early retirement, but there are newer crypto's using new innovation which are fungible and offer the option of private transactions. They will surely take off in a big way over the next year or two.

I really like LTCs increased transaction speed. I spent a week or two playing around with some Litecoin gambling sites and exchanges, and got so used to the fast confirms that I found myself annoyed with waiting when I went back to Bitcoin. Of course, Bitcoin isn't going anywhere as the top cryptocurrency, but I would like to see more Litecoin integration into sites that already accept Bitcoin
