Best thing is to hold it IMO, I doubt there is any legit investment you could do with such an amount.. You could try trading Alt-currencies etc... but mostly the non-skilled ones lose there funds.

[snip]
i have known about reddcoin from back when its price was 20 satoshi and all i saw from them untill now was a downhill progress to 5 satoshi.

actually what Amph said higher was the same thing that i was thinking about these kinds of coins. because their price always goes down because of the high supply they have and lack of people's interest (demand).

you're right, but the price is low and a good entry for the PoS idea. especially with 0.02 bitcoin Smiley

you did not understand what i said!

i am saying that the price is always going down. which means for example if i buy 0.02 BTC worth of RDD (X RDD) and wait a long period of time for stacking rewards (Y RDD), after the said period my X+Y RDD is worth less than 0.02 BTC since the price had gone down in the future.

or the price can go up in the future. that's the risk of trading volatile currencies. All I said is that reddcoin or any other super cheap PoS coin is a nice starter for newbies.

according to what you say, a year ago same month RDD was 30 satoshi and it is all downhill from then. if i have bought 66,666.66 RDD i should have earned 333,333.34 RDD from stacking in a year just to cover my losses and have the same 0.02BTC today.

can i really get more than 333K RDD in reward to have a profit at the end of the year?

EDIT:
this "or the price can go up in the future" is wishful thinking which i am not willing to invest according to that.

POS mining requires an online computer to even mine. To have one running 24/7, you would be looking for raspberry pi 2 as the lowest power consumption one. Factoring in the power cost, hardware cost and volatility, the profit would be very much in the negative.

you don't have to be online 24/7. most PoS calculates your network weight, which is growing until you reach the Stake point. so you can stake once every week or so

It would depend on the amount of coins you have. Isn't it very much like mining, the varience would affect the amount of time needed when your block is generated. If your wallet is offline, you would be losing out on earnings. Correct me if I'm wrong.

correcting you. PoS is as you know stake based. the older, in terms of network age, your coins are, the higher the chance for a stake. ofc, that's not for all PoS coins, but it's a quite common rule.

your coins age regardless of the wallet's online time

Hello from India,
i am new on this forum but i have been earning bitcoin from faucets over last year.
i have 0.022 BTC with me , i hear a lot of people saying to join campaign how can i do that , i have 0.022 BTC want to invest to get profit, please help me.

you can buy a forum account with your .022BTC, a member rank i think and you can earn .02BTC+ per week in a signature campaign

This is a great tip, possibly the best one option out there.

but when buying an account, be sure to take all the necessary security measures and get a signed message stating that the account was sold to you. it will prevent any drama in the future should the seller try and reclaim that account.

Yes exactly. Is there a guide available for people that are interested to buy Bitcoin accounts?

you mean bitcointalk accounts? check the digital goods section, you'll find answers there. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

you only need to verify the ownership, post quality and trust, then usually the rule for 100k satoshi per activity is working good

maybe it's also good to check more about the owner, but usually they use an newbie alt for selling...

in addition, you might want to check out the auctions section as well, its possible to get an account (or anything on there really) for cheaper than you might buy it in the digital goods section.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

there is no guide, you have to be able to recognize scammers on your own

although there are some good sticky topics on the matter on related boards it is good to read them

Prevention is better than a cure. Please escrow.

also you have to ask for signed message from an old known address in addition of using escrow.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

and also for the bitcoin address you should look for an old topic / reply of that person in which he has posted his bitcoin address.

IMPORTANT to pay attention to that post to see if it was not edited, because the scammer can hack an account and edit all the posts with his own address and the post date looks old but was edited.

in this forum look at the top of the post (the date and time of the post) if it is edited then there will be a line under the date and time (underlined text) and if you move your mouse over it, it would show you the time of the edit.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

0.022 BTC is $5 USD, which is 390 Indian rupees.
According to this website, that is one day's wage of an office assistant in India.
Have you done this basic maths?

Your inquiry does not look like a serious inquiry.
If it is, you will have to at least save 1000 or 10,000 times your saved amount to consider investing of any kind.

BTC is not a magic "get rich" quick pill as far as I can understand. Its like any other currency.

Gambling = sure much profit in second you can get but the risk is higher too, you can loss all
Trading = Need Skill for read the market
Invest HYIP / Ponzi = not recommended
Mining = need much balance to start and need maintenance fee
Signature Campaign = Good Start

Gambling is not investment .you might double your money if you are lucky. You might also lose it all if you are not so lucky.

yeah gambling not investment but better you gambling than you invest in cloud mining or ponzi and always ending with scam

I try to make a distance between me and the gambling sector.
Any kind of betting gambling or anything else like these i don't like them.
I try to stay as far as i can.
Try to invest somewhere else, like improving your skills.

Don't invest please. You will probably lost it all like many of us did. Don't ivest into any ponzi, cloud mining or whatever. Trust me dude. You are not going to be good and with $5 you would not make some good profit even with a legit and real company. If you want 100% real cloud mining + exchange, check out my signature, BIT-X is definitely legit, but $5 won't bring you much profit. Better save up your BTC and make more and more.

The safest would be something like HaoBTC, which pays interest on BTC that's deposited (and lets you withdraw it at any time -- interest is paid hourly). Eric is pretty active on these forums (he works for HaoBTC) as well.

a centralized third party is never safe. search for decentralized, interest paying alternatives. (eg. BTS, NXT Assets).

they advertise 8% or something apr, which seems suspicious, but they have shown videos of their mining farms and recently purchased several thousand miners as well. i just dont understand why they offer such high interest rates on their banking system. what's the incentive?
