I honestly feel the transaction times are bit of an issue with Bitcoin, I always love something instant, something like net banking where the payment is made instantly and payee receives this on time. I'm sure there are plenty of online services that help achieve this where merchants can instantly receive bitcoins and have them converted to their local currency.

Apart from I also feel merchants where I live don't accept Bitcoin for payments, the general tendency of the society is to make cash payments and also to stay away from credit cards.

i have many problem with bitcoin, one of them ussualy about bitcoin exist, because bitcoin have no physic,i cant clearly explain to newbie.and about transaction confirmation,i also often have many problem,so many exchange have a long confirmation. but my major poblem is about bitcoin it self,i still difficult to getting free bitcoin, just because i wont to buy bitcoin with physical money.. Grin Grin

if you understand bitcoin well enough, you then will be able to explain bitcoin to newbies without problems. just make sure you use easy language in the beginning. regarding getting free bitcoins; it's not bitcoin's fault that you have a hard time to collect a few bits. when it comes to confirmations, i fully agree. i would prefer them to be faster.

Also if we had started with clean power, like 100 years ago when it was invented, we all would be fossil free by the mid 50's, but hey, capitalism, we all know how that went, 600 billion per year on war, while 300 million a year is enough to end world hunger...

So you imply that capitalism can't end world hunger and create clean energy?

It could, but the oligarchy doesnt want that, that is why the current system it's called fascism not capitalism.

Bitcoin is 100% pure capitalism at it's best.

Use of Xapo doesn't solve the issue. Xapo is an online service that is offchain. Even though it is instant, the Bitcoin Blockchain will not be used and that isn't the point at all. Furthermore, it is more susceptible to hacks.

More fees does give you more priority but that wouldn't help if no blocks are found. It can take up to hours at times.

Like anything in life their are bound to be problems but they can be ironed out if it is caught at the right time.
Once those problems are addressed then the service will work as it should or how it was planned out too in the first place.
Everybody will have an opinion on how something works but that is what collecting feedback and doing surveys are for.
But mine is not being able to walk into a store and being asked if I would be paying for my purchase with bitcoin today  Embarrassed

That is not a big problem if you do not need some money indeed so quickly. Holding is the best to think we can do with bitcoin right now as bitcoin is still in the developing early-stage. So holding bitcoin is  helping bitcoin and it's community right now.

keep on holding your bitcoins you will make a lot of profit in long term, if you sell during pump you won't make much profit.
i don't have any problem with bitcoin. Smiley

The biggest problem I have ever had with Bitcoin is one time when I used blockchain.info web wallet, it sent my coins to my original address and sent the rest to a newly created address.. then the wallet closed, I re-logged in and the coins were gone. Due to connection problems the address's private key was never saved. I would like to see a wallet where your address's private keys are automatically saved and backed up to your computer every time you create a new address.

For me bitcoin is good enough. But there is a problem with bitcoin especially talking about price stability. Bitcoin price jumped up so fast and fell down so quickly. I don't have enough time to save my bitcoin and earn profit from price increase. Also I need to wait 10-15 minutes to get first confirmation. I hope confirmation time will be faster one day.
