My biggest problem in was bitcoin has no physical appearance. It is my biggest problem what if bitcoin has no physical appearance how to use it? If it have physical wallet what if the internet gone how we use it? Thats all my problem about so i convert it to fiat so that if that happen i have my money.
Indeed the biggest problem in the Bitcoin is Bitcoin doesn't have a physical display that can be taken anywhere and can be exchanged anywhere. Keep in mind that the purpose of the bitcoin not for it but to help deal with way better than other currencies, so it doesn't matter. And future payment systems will surely be using Digital |

I do not have many problems with Bitcoin but there is one thing that is bugging me some times. My biggest problem with Bitcoin is that whern the price is stable it can sometimes take forever for the price is get back up again.
I also have the same problem with Bitcoin whenever the price is stable it just takes way to long for the price to finally move again. There where some times that I almost quit with Bitcoin because of this. I consider this not as a real problem to be honest I even think its just the bitcoin that has this, its normal in my eyes. I hate that confirmations takes sometimes so long because of the stupid fees... |

Trying to use it as a currency. Very few places accept it and it's way easier to use fiat to buy things. There's no reason to buy bitcoin just to spend it unless it's on the darkweb.

it was not a big problem, because fiat is still able to cover it. maybe in the future bitcoin can be used as a means of payment in the world. honestly indeed bitcoin will be easier for online shopping transactions, if all the stores already accept bitcoin. |

Though I currently don’t have many issues with bitcoin, and I happen to have a reasonable income; I remember when I first got introduced to bitcoin; I was low on cash and I had to start earning it from ground zero. Running those faucets was a pain; losing to gambling was heartbreaking, joining sites that scammed was really frustrating. But experience has really helped and I’m actually happy I went through all that.

That problem will always follow bitcoin, but you need to smart before investing, and if people around you don't care about bitcoin they you should do the same with them. |

Yeah majority of sites are ponzis and it creates negative impression of bitcoin in the minds of the people but you need research before you invest your coins in any site. |

I think something that has happened with me is I can visit this thread every other month and claim something new.
Maybe thats my issue that I keep running into issues and nothing is ever stagnant long enough to breathe.
Always something happening in bitcoin.

A lot of people are reporting they are having their computers hacked and their bitcoins stolen.
This is becoming a regular occurrence now a days. Are people just not taking the proper actions to not have this done to them or are the hackers becoming more prevalent at what they do?

More often now then ever, blocks are reaching its 1MB size: https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/Thus, there is no space for all transactions. So you need to pay higher fee to have a greater chance of being included in the next block. |

I have never faced this issue in my life, you need to take proper care at initial stage, and I think bitcoin wallet are very safe and its not that easy to steal your coins. |

I've only transferred my BTC from one address to the other several times, and the only problem seems to be the slow transaction time. Something could be done to make it faster, so you wouldn't feel nervous if you did something wrong during the transaction process. That's one thing that needs some improvement.

After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption.
And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security.
We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product.
One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market.
We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.

My biggest problem with Bitcoin would have to be that there's a lot to learn with it. It's not as easy as sending an email or spending/receiving fiat. It can't help with user adoption.

Not to easy believe with HYIP sites or etc. HYIP and Scammer site offer how easy to earn some bitcoin with full amount,non risk and other offer to make their potential victims believe with it. |
