My biggest problem with bitcoin is there is no legitimate company that can be entrusted with alot of BTC because like others said the problem is security because most of these websites got hacked and sometimes we need to wait for 30 minutes in order for the transaction to get 1 confirmation which is annoying for me.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

You mean exchanges or some investment companies that offers a nice return?

In case of exchanges, yes there is a risky that the site will turned to be scammed but as a good practice, you can perform exchanges in multiple sites.

I case of investment ponzi sites, no other explanation. Just stay away and don't be blinded by the good returns they are offering.
Yes, exchange sites with them being hacked too easily this affects usage of bitcoin.

Don't you think that it's what you get - FREEDOM from being dependent on someone to hold your coins while you can control them on your own.

I can't trade very well if my bitcoin is at my wallet. It would be a hassle to unload/load especially if the prices become volatile

You don't pay enough.

My only problem with bitcoin is the lack of real stores where I can buy some ordinary things, without depending on an Internet connection to move my coins. Perhaps it means that the bitcoin worth is not real, because without Internet bitcoin would not exist.

Stores that accept bitcoin are popping up everyday. But since bitcoin is a digital currency it needs a digital medium in which to propagate.
On the other hand, if bitcoin is not real how is it with gold? It's just metal. Or fiat? Just paper. It has value because we say so.

Yes, exchange sites with them being hacked too easily this affects usage of bitcoin.

Nope it's not easily if breaching the security is the issue.

But when it is intentional, then that is a easy one.

That's why it's a good practice to not store too much coins in an single exchange.

The biggest problem with Bitcoin, I think, that it's quite unpredictable. You never know what is going to come. You never know when to buy and sell.
These are now the difficult decisions you have to take.

bitcoin is still a new invention so it is acceptable that there is not yet enough usage for it. but people are starting to find out about bitcoin and start using it.

i heard some rumors that steam is planning on accepting bitcoin as payment. soon other companies will start accepting bitcoin and before you know it bitcoin is widespread.

According to certain network theory, the value of a technology is proportional to the square of the users. If the user of bitcoin increase from 1 million to 10 million, the price will be $40,000 each.

Well stores like this are maybe popping around in the USA but here in Europe you can't see any :/

It's a bit sad to know it's an only digital currency without anything physical to buy around.

If it's predictable then definitely there will be no bitcoin exchange trading that will happen.

That's why there is a so called learning the market moves to help you make profit in trading.

My biggest problem with Bitcoins is that it's still having lots of problems getting transactions confirmed earlier...
I think this should get resolved, and also the security is still on the verge of getting exhausted easily, so to become safe, we need to take measures to have our coins secured completely...

For now probably still a few people who adopt bitcoin for payment but I'm sure there will be many people who adopt bitcoin transactions so many stores that provide transaction using bitcoin.

Yes, things will change in future as we would find many merchants that will start accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment, and we would be able to buy physical things using bitcoins.

True. It is really hard using it with the lack of stores that accepts it. So if it is the easiest way that you are looking you might just exchange it for dollars and that way you could easily use it everyday without the hassle.
