What do I like best about Bitcoin? Hmm...

Decentralization (no more greedy banks, etc.)
Tiny transaction fees (compared to Visa/Mastercard, etc.)
Super speedy transactions (compared to bank transfers which take days, etc.)

The rollercoaster ride of investing in it is exciting too. Wink

Regards,
Christopher

I completely agree with you the best attraction about the bitcoins is the decentralisation and online transfers which are so speedy and quick that we no need to visit banks of WU to transfer funds.

And I also view it as an investment product, which would definitely benefit me in the future and would be having good fund at the end of retirement if I hold good bitcoins at a moment. And generally I use it for online transfers as it is quick and with very low transaction costs, but there are many other benefits attached with bitcoins.

I like bitcoin because I learned lots of concepts, from cryptography to privacy, from transactions to fee etc.

what you like best in Bitcoin ? decentralized and not issued by any central authority. I think that's what makes it special ultimately. There's been nothing like it before.

Decentralization, low fees and really fast transactions. I think it's great more for online purchases where you can't use cash and there is high credit fraud.

I like the things you mention about Bitcoin too, however, I don't think we should expect that all Bitcoin transactions / deals will be safe. For example, owners of webshops that accept Bitcoin, might find an easy way to just not delivering their products. As soon as your Bitcoins are transferred to their wallets, this does not always have to mean that you also receive the product. In that situation, it is also hard to find out who the actual owner of the website / webshop is: you can't simply track the bank account (as you would nowadays).

Pretty much what I was going to say. It being its own currency and payment processor independent of any authority is revolutionary. I just only hope it actually catches on at one point.

How?
That probably relates to earning money such as dollars or euro's, doesn't it? I guess you have to spend some time and efforts trying to earn 1 BTC - about $225, which is the same as you would trying to earn $225.

As I bought a desktop because I needed one (for my study, work and spare time) I guess I could also mention that I achieved to earn my first 1 BTC without investment (by GPU-mining the right altcoins at that time) - but I guess that doesn't apply as my desktop costed money and so did the electricy.

I really liked the idea of  bitcoin mining. It really sounds like mining some gold but in any other way, really creative. Wink

extremly low fees opened alots of chance for me to work

low chance of getting stolen if you secure your self
and easy to chace the the stealer if it gets stolen

easy way to make money online and long time invest (like if you have 1BTC now worth avarage 225USD and lets say that bitcoin reaches 1000USD again and sell it the net profit will be 775USD on avarage)
