In the context it looks like he is talking about bring light to the subject, in this case the sprout which would need sunlight in order to grow. To bring someone or something to light is to present or reveal someone or something to the public. So I guess he is trying to say we could create a marketing campaign of sorts. Anyone got any ideas? I can donate some of my sprouts in order to help bring light.
