According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

They would most likely not give a refund, especially if you paid in BTC like many others did.

I was offered a refund, but sold my ASIC locally and was able to reverse the refund thanks to Inaba. This was probably out of the norm given the refund, then reversal.

They would most likely not give a refund, especially if you paid in BTC like many others did. Why in the world would you think they wont give a refund? Why is everyone so pessimistic. also, I just got an increase of 50% on my preorders... why would i want a refund? thirdly, Please get a refund. do it as fast as possible before they run

Especially since the CEO was convicted of scamming and fraud.

i asked for a refund, but they wouldn't give my btc back. when i ordered btc was worth 6$, so I would only get half of my coins back if I got a refund. So i'm just crossing my fingers and hoping they deliver.

They use the USD as a measure, not bitcoins. They recieved USD in their account on the day your ordered, they will give you usd back or btc equivalent, nothing unusual about that.

If they used bitcoins as a measure then i would definitely get a refund. This is what I based my decision off of.

You're basically saying if they refunded you twice as much as you paid, you'd take a refund? Who wouldn't? You're basing this off the fact that you 'paid' about 216 BTC, which was worth $1300 at the time, but now you'd want back the same 216 BTC that's now worth about $2700. Good luck with that.
