I was just wondering if this is this a mistake?
"999 Fine silver plated"

Later:
"One Troy Ounce, 999 Fine silver"

Is it solid or plated?

Cheers Smiley

Where would the holo go on the bar?  I don't see an empty smooth surface that would allow the holo to stick cleanly.

No , there's no specific place on the bar for the Holo.  They are there to seal the paper wallet.

Are you providing the paper wallet along with the bar?  If so, are there pictures of it?  If not, then the holos don't really serve a purpose other than giving us generic holos for us to use elsewhere.

The .999 Fine Silver concerns me, when the bar is plated.   Items should not be stated Fine Silver, which implies that its solid, when they're plated.

I do think the design in nice and wish you well with your project.

Yes ......1 troy oz. .999 fine silver would mean solid silver..... this could be a problem for resale....

Well 1 troy oz. .999 fine silver means that it is an actual 1 troy ounce of pure silver, this for sure is a problem.  Undecided

Dang, I was really interested until I realized it was built like a scam bar meant to trick people into thinking it's solid silver.

I would definitively buy one if it was labeled as being plated on the actual bar even though it isn't solid silver.   Cool

It's not truly "bullion" if it isn't solid silver (base metals don't count!) so I'd say the title of the thread is misleading as well.   Wink

I will agree with everyone that the 'one troy oz .999 fine silver' is pretty misleading.

And the numbering strikes me as a bit odd since there are 4 placeholders (which implies =>1000 bars) but there are only 1-100 bars.

Anyway, I hope all goes as planned for you.  Smiley I definitely like the look of the back of the bar.

They used to do this kind of stuff on eBay a lot back in the day. They called it "3 Mils .999 pure silver". They made it appear as if the mint name was "3 mils", but what they were really doing was giving you legal disclosure you were buying 3 mils of .999 silver xD
