CAT delisted from CryptoGuru.
Thanks.  We didn't even know we were listed there.

I haven't even heard of that exchange before.

I'm looking at this headline in a very simple way. It's a long history of coins. Are there many people digging this cat? I looked at the price. The short time jumped very badly.

Nope, just a few of us, you should probably not buy or mine catcoin, it's more of a community coin than a pump and dump.

It is a longterm coin and a fun coin too. I thought it almost died but it seems it is back which is good because it has been around for so long.

Your wallet's fine - we have a very long block.  We got hit hard by a profit pool, it appears.

I'm going to reboot my random number generator and hopefully I land in a universe where the block just got solved.

You can also do what i do; mine any algorithm you want on https://www.zpool.ca and take payment as Catcoins since they are mined there too Smiley

As you've no doubt noticed, we got hit hard and our difficulty was pushed up.  We're coming back down, but it's slow going.  This wasn't a regular switch-pool hit - this was thousands of MHs for more than 30 minutes.

Here's the thing, CATs:  We're a proof of work coin.  We need miners or we cannot come down from high blocks, and we can't resist it when pools bring 200 GHs to our network.

If you want the coin to succeed, you've got to mine.  Point your scrypt miners at CAT, or lease some hash.

Thanks CATs.

What version of the wallet are you running?  Make sure it's the latest - sources are linked in the first post in this thread.

What's happening, Alex?  The Windows binaries are in a zip archive - they don't install.  All you'll need to do is extract the files, and start the wallet.  It will probably do a reindex and you'll be set.
