Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Looks good to me, the block count (see https://www.banx.io/systemstatus) seems to be the same as http://unitus.nutty.one/network. Of course if they haven't updated then it will not match once we hit block 460000.

Re: trading UIS on banx.io, do your own research and be careful!

I found that UIS can be traded here - https://www.banx.io/trade?c=UIS&p=BTC

Not sure about this exchange though, never heard of it.
Do your own research and trade with caution.

P.S. Might be useful to contact them about the coming fork and let them know that they should upgrade their wallets.

There's already a warning at Unitus.ninja saying not to send any Unitus to that exchange.

The Banx exchange has been shown to be a dishonest exchange, claiming thousands of dollars in daily volume for Banxshares but only $6 daily volume for all their other coins combined.

Coinmarketcap actually delisted Banxshares after this exchange repeatedly reported fake numbers to get Banxshares to the #8 spot.

Banx is only sold on its own exchange so they can prevent anyone from selling below "ICO" price, even though the "ICO" has been going since 2014.  So users aren't allowed to sell their shares at all.

Banx was listed at C-Cex for a short time, but C-Cex started allowing people to sell their Banxshares - so Banx hardforked and only redeemed coins held at their own exchange, invalidating all coins held at C-Cex.

Here is an article with more about Banx:

http://coinjournal.net/ponzi-accusations-fly-as-banxshares-is-set-to-be-removed-from-coinmarketcap-rankings/

And an update:

http://coinjournal.net/banx-three-months-later-no-bitshares-integration-less-than-1-sold-network-is-down/

Dammit, I thought I just got saved from my couple hundred dollar loss to due UIS being pulled from Poloniex.
Thanks however, things could've gotten worse if I were to deposit there.

Does anyone else have any other exchanges?

UIS closed on Polo Cry

we were trying to convince them not to delist, but hey, they have hands full of ETH, why would they make extra work with other unique cryptos which don't make them much money.

Let's try to get UIS listed on Cryptopia, we are second now - https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting

OK, massive fork on the network again, the 5-sequential-block rule kicked in @ 456000 - and then we've got stuck on 456600 due to a lack of miners on the correct wallet. and now the alternative chain-fork is building strength....

C'mon people ... if your mining UIS - update your fricken wallets. There's still far too much RED on the peer list - http://unitus.nutty.one/network

I fired up my Yescrypt miner and the block I found looks like kicked the chain and it is moving forward. We are on block 456613 at the time of writing.

nzsquirrell, what wallet version does blockchain explorer is running?

I did upgrade the wallet, redownload the full chain but I am on block 457236

http://e-pool.net/explorer/UIS/

What we did wrong? Or we are on right fork?

blockchain explorer and http://unitus.nutty.one/network are running from same wallet, version is 0.9.6.2. Problem was the wallet was going into safemode due to the large fork, and thus the explorer was not able to pull any new information. I've restarted the wallet now and it is showing the correct information, regardless of the forks.

i manage to fix it, i did change the code of the wallet to block wallets version 0.9.5 and 0.9.6, and i did recompile it

original:

Code:
            if (
                (pfrom->cleanSubVer == "/Satoshi:0.9.3/") ||
                (pfrom->cleanSubVer == "/Satoshi:0.9.6/")
            )

what i change:

Code:
            if (
                (pfrom->cleanSubVer == "/Satoshi:0.9.5/") ||
                (pfrom->cleanSubVer == "/Satoshi:0.9.6/")
            )

I see all Yescrypt found blocks are mergemined, is there any public pool where one can mergemine, or these blocks come from some private initiative?

Also, is there a way to say with coin merge mined the uis block?

I've updated all our wallets, except the X11 one seems to always want to report:

Warning: The network does not appear to fully agree! Some miners appear to be experiencing issues.

however, it's on the same block as all the rest... and only generate orphans....

any ideas?

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Multipool.us has UIS merged with all X11 coins.
