There is no max amount of coins; from the original ANN posting (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1121974.0):

Reward: Every 7 days the reward decays by a compounding 1%. Decay continues until we reach 2 UIS (approximately in June 2022, on block 3,933,199) and then this remains static for each block thereafter. Mined blocks mature after 180 confimations.

So, after block 3,933,199 the reward will be 2 UIS forever thereafter; with a 60 second target block time, there is a new block (on average) every minute. It works out to 1'051,200 UIS per year.

Also, by ~June 2022 most of the coins will be mined. By then there will be approximately 83 million coins in circulation and from there on out the block reward will only be 2 UIS and stay like that forever.

Since there was no ICO, premine, or dev fund/tax and we are only a $1 million marketcap coin; there is nobody technically working here "full time". However, the UIS team is currently growing at a solid rate and consists of many part time members working on all different fronts. The community has been growing at a nice rate as well

I believe he has tried multiple times, but yobit just keep ignoring him and run an outdated wallet pre-fork. Many coins have the same issue

Unfortunately, we have many times. We even reached out to them months prior to our latest fork back in June. They just won't cooperate. Many coins have this problem with them. Yobit is a pretty bad and unprofessional exchange and should generally be avoided.

Just a heads up to anyone else regarding this: When starting to sync the wallet, it will say it will take forever to sync, but once you get past the headers it will go a lot faster.

Development


We would like to announce that preliminary work has started towards proof of stake, although we currently do not have a % to comment on. The rough deadline for PoS to be implemented is late Q2/mid 2018. Also, to clear up any confusion, we will be a hybrid PoW/PoS coin once proof of stake is implemented. On top of being the 1st coin in crypto to combine all 3 different types of mining (CPU/GPU/ASIC) with merge mining, we will then be even more unique having Proof of Stake on top of that.



Mining


We will be hosting a CPU mining competition soon. More details to come regarding that. UIS will be up for grabs! We are a very rare coin that has 2 algorithms that are mineable via CPU. Yescrypt and the popular Argon2d. You don't just have to CPU mine cryptonight coins!



Exchanges
In an effort to get on more exchanges, we have started a donation fund to reach 5 ETH towards getting on the upcoming altcoin exchange, blockbid.com.au which is poised to be one of the biggest altcoin exchanges around. The deadline is December 16th. We are currently at:

Since we have been a lot more active on twitter recently, the number of our followers have grown at a pretty nice rate. We are currently at 1860 twitter followers.
