I think this is the last place where UIS can be traded. Any ideas of an exchange who could support UIS?

may be

I've submitted Unitus to both of them, see what happens.

I found that UIS can be traded here - https://www.banx.io/trade?c=UIS&p=BTC

Not sure about this exchange though, never heard of it.
Do your own research and trade with caution.

P.S. Might be useful to contact them about the coming fork and let them know that they should upgrade their wallets.

Yes it looks like it is there. We'd prefer to have it stay on polo so several pool ops are lobbying them to keep it.

Hope they do, of the coins polo is delisting, this actually has developments so it's kinda frustrating.

There's already a warning at Unitus.ninja saying not to send any Unitus to that exchange.

The Banx exchange has been shown to be a dishonest exchange, claiming thousands of dollars in daily volume for Banxshares but only $6 daily volume for all their other coins combined.

Coinmarketcap actually delisted Banxshares after this exchange repeatedly reported fake numbers to get Banxshares to the #8 spot.

Banx is only sold on its own exchange so they can prevent anyone from selling below "ICO" price, even though the "ICO" has been going since 2014.  So users aren't allowed to sell their shares at all.

Banx was listed at C-Cex for a short time, but C-Cex started allowing people to sell their Banxshares - so Banx hardforked and only redeemed coins held at their own exchange, invalidating all coins held at C-Cex.

Here is an article with more about Banx:

Yea, I'm surprised they lumped it with HUGE and HIRO, but actually left EXE on for trading. I'll send message of support now.

There's good news too - 46% of Unitus coins have been burned, so the available supply just dropped under 20 million.

We just added yescrypt to www.zpool.ca and UIS was added along with globalboost.

Block explorer got stuck on block 451111 - fixed now.

your TX is showing now - http://explorer.unitus.nutty.one/tx/ae269beca2e4ef7b54499872ecf436d12625e36f1a5435d298eb3797ee2e7dd7

If it doesn't appear in the exchange, that's a good sign that they have not updated their wallet, and they will be off on some invalid fork of the blockchain. probably happened post block 451000 when we started seeing some 4-consecutive blocks with same algo - prior versions of the wallet would not allow this. I asked Poloniex to ensure their wallet was updated, this may have been what caused them to pull the plug on us.

Umm, yeah, the change to difficulty has broken it. It does require a steady hashrate on all 5 algos for the difficulties to stay within a reasonable limit, but we had both skein and qubit hashrate drop off totally soon after block 452,000. then the others skyrocketed as the missing 2 didn't balance out the equations.

what to do.... we could re-issue the wallet without the difficulty change, which would result in every block since 452000 being orphaned. painful, but possible.

or we could just accept it as it is ... let's face it, this coin is pretty much dead, polo have stated they are dropping it, and it looks like they haven't updated to 0.9.6 so effectively they have dropped it already. quite frankly, the effort involved for me to roll a new release, have everyone update etc etc.... it's just not worth it.

I say RIP. Try to convince me otherwise.

Alternatively if someone else wants to take over, let me know and you can have it.

Not sure about Polo.
I've opened a ticket with explications about my "lost" transaction, and now coins are on Polo, so i suppose they have updated wallet.
I will try another transaction with few coins.

But without volume, it's sure UIS will be closed.

Problem is that there is no utilisation for UIS, no service, it's just a crypto for mining/trading, and after one year ( that is great ), it's the end ...

I can confirm that transactions from Polo work. I think they have done the update. Any exchange, but Poloniex would not announce delisting and then not let people withdraw their coins.

Ok, so I think nzsquirell has done amazing job keeping this little, but unique project going and now it's time for community to come and help. What is that we can contribute to this project? I personally can offer design, frontend web dev stuff and try to help with creating Mac wallet.

Who else is ready to help?

OK, whats happened is there are now two major blockchain forks on the network. It looks like some pools / solo miners did NOT upgrade to 0.9.6, and thus their version of the blockchain is being built according to the old rules, including the limit of 3 consecutive blocks for a single algo (which changed at block 451000). meanwhile the main fork carried on, until the new difficulty adjustment came in and screwed everything up. then, as the alternate work continued to find blocks, we have a competition forming - which fork had done the most work? once the alternate fork had done the most work (remember the 'main' fork now has ridiculously high difficulties, thus fewer blocks found), it became reality. then, any blocks AND transactions that had occurred on the new fork became orphaned.

I've just built a new version - 0.9.6.1 - which does a couple of things:

removes the difficulty-adjustment change that broke us badly
delayed the change of consecutive blocks to 460000 (from 451000)
delayed the change of blake to lyra2re2 to height 465000 (from 455000)

i'll get it pushed up to github along with windows binaries ASAP.

block explorer is still likely to be a mess (will fix that later), but what you see on http://unitus.nutty.one/network is the truth, block explorer is all good as well.

Update: Source on https://github.com/unitusdev/unitus/releases/tag/0.9.6.1 binaries coming soon.

Update 2: When restarting the new version - please run with -reindex.

Update 3: Windows wallets now available @ https://github.com/unitusdev/unitus/releases/tag/0.9.6.1. Please Update ASAP, you will need to start the wallet with -reindex the first time, this will ensure any orphaned blocks / transactions are cleaned up.
