My first bitcoins came from buying them myself from an exchange Cheesy . I began investing in bitcoin around May 2014 & have been regularly buying since then. I HODL in cold storage in the hope that one day they will be worth much more than they are now.

I recently in the last 3 or 4 months started participating in signature campaigns, the pay isn't much but it all helps in my bitcoin savings venture. I do spend a small amount from the signature campaigns gambling but not much.

Bought them from coinbase, enough to play around with at first.  Slowly have built some up with faucets, campaigns, and more buying.

I got a small balance from faucets, and then gambled it up to 0.02 BTC before losing it all.

I also got bitcoin from android games like coin flapper, coin crusher and 80s shooter.

And then I bought a Steam Wallet for buying a game(s) Smiley (I'll never forget it)

Even I earned my first bitcoin from a signature campaign, and it is the easiest and the safest way to earn and grow your bitcoins, many of them gets into gambling for doubling the bitcoins but it is too risky, you may loose all your bitcoins in gambling.

My first bitcoins came from mining bitcoin on now deceased deepbit. It was still cpu/gpu mining, and asics were not available at the time.
I liked the idea and the community here, which was very helpful in setting up the rigs, and i used the money earned to buy more and more gpu's.
In the end, asics came and overtook the mining section, so i switched to mining alts and selling them for bitcoin, and eventually sold all rigs due to low profitability and heat.

cheers

I borrowed from my friend and I promised him that I would return him in next 2 months after I start earning.

And I successfully started earning bitcoins and returned him with an interest, so the basic thing is I didn't invest anything at the initial stage. I received my first bitcoin for free.  Grin

My first bitcoins came from Primedice signature campaign way back September 2014. From then on, I started to buy a little amount of btc every month and I have never failed to do so for the past 10 months.

How'd you get your first bitcoins (faucets aside) and what did you do to them?
Im know from PPC, PTC, and i see adsense about bitcoin
i try it but im failed to get more bitcoin

after it someday
stellar give more giveawy and some one send me tutorial how to get stellar free
Im registered to stellar, and i sell my stellar to bitcoin

so my first come from PTC, but my biggest earn come from Giveaway based stellar Smiley

My first coins came from coinchat.org. At that time coinchat was the best way to get coins.
After that for me bitcoinget.com worked well and good.
