They came from a gambling giveaway. I was lucky enough to win the amount required to withdraw the money.

My first bitcoins, came from the faucets of course, were my first experiences with bitcoin, my first transaction and how it worked personally check the bitcoin wallet. I won a 300k satoshis weekly. A year over the bitcoin was 340-360 euros, and the faucets were fine.

My first bitcoin (even two) came from an exchange named virwox. It was about two-three years ago (I don't remember well; must see my data) but become from there. Was bought with Paypal.

My first bitcoins came from Primedice signature campaign way back September 2014. From then on, I started to buy a little amount of btc every month and I have never failed to do so for the past 10 months.
How'd you get your first bitcoins (faucets aside) and what did you do to them?
I first became interested in bitcoins when an bitcoin ATM was installed back in March near me. I bought some shortly after it was installed. Before that I had no interest in bitcoin, but read a lot about it when I saw the ATM.

My first substantial amount of Bitcoin was from signature programs on here and also the giveaways which can be found in various sections of this forum. I tried faucets at first but realised that my eyes and wrists were more important.

Besides the forums giveaways and faucets my first Bitcoins came from an exchange When it was still relatively easy to send a wire transfer and have the coins recieved the next day. I kept them bought stuff and then sold a bunch, and got a few people interested in the idea / sold a few coins.
