Are you a bitcoin fan? Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis. But how did you first hear about bitcoin? Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time? Share your experience with us.  initially I feel less trust, I assume it's like a normal game even like wasting time. but after seeing directly from my colleagues, and proving myself from my colleagues, I am sure this will be a life-changer of a person even a country |

I first read about it in a newspaper. It was an article about a woman who tried to hire a hitman to kill a guy. She wanted to pay with bitcoins :-)

I first heard bitcoin to my sister she's inviting me to register at bitcoin 2 years.But l ignore her because lm busy on my job.I told her lve no time using cellphone.But my daughter convinced my sister and after two months she got her salary l decided to register also as an extra income. As l saw my sisters life now she become rich of bitcoin.She build her own house now and have a car.lt reminds me before on how She convinced me to join at bitcoin maybe lm rich now also. But it's not too late lm glad bitcoin came to give work to the unemployed.I told myself that l will save a budget for my kids for 3 months then I will resign on my work and focus my self to bitcoining because this is all the answer on what I've looking for.l used to work to give the needs of my kids.As a single mom l have to double time to earn money. But I found bitcoin that it will not just give my needs but bitcoin is giving me hope to be rich. |

I first heard bitcoin in my churchmate, because she posted a link about bitcoin investment site,so i asked her what is bitcoin all about, and thats why im using bitcoin now and try investing with it. |

I heard it from my friend and literally i was not beleivng on his words and i was making fun of him. He showed me many proofs of its existance but i kept on asking him just one question that have you slept last night or not?? hahahha but i was wrong.. now we both work together as bitcoiners.

When I first heard the word bitcoin, I don't believe that through the use of it you can earn money just only with patience and potential to post, comment, reply to every topics they have in this forum. And when my cousin says about bitcoin ideas that's the time I'm going to be interested in bitcoin that's why not only to earn money but also to learn more ideas and knowledge about bitcoin.

And then me and my friend wants to travel, and since travelling needs money, my friend encourage me to join in the business where he is working which is the BTC. At first, I didn't believe him but since we are friend he will not do anything that mighy harm me so i tried. So thats why I am here now. And I'm enjoying it. |

And yeah, as a ordinary person I just ignore it until such time there's a guy who invites me to join in BTC when he is earning money. I tried since I don't have anything to do. He introduced what is BTC is and how it must done. And now here I am. |

I heard about bitcoin on the television. When I'm watching TV there's an issue about it. They told that it was an a scammer and they said that..not to believe about it because it's only a lie about to invest. But I probably proven that bitcoin is a true value of real money for good.

Actually I heard it through my friends inviting mo to do some bitcoin , although I have a doubt that what if , if bitcoin is a scam , something like that. So first I don't believe it , but I've seen that they earn some money. So they invite me again , so first I still have a doubt , or really like that. In the end their teach mo how , they said that don't be a lazy , then their experiences teach me more. I've read some but , in person my friends taught me how , so yes that's why I'm here , that's how I first hear about bitcoin. And thanks to this forum that guide and help us mostly the newbie. |

A lot of scam surrounds our country that is why when my friend told me about this especially when I don't know anything about bitcoin is that it is just a scam and is just a waste of time for all the people that is why I told him that I am not interested since I don't want to join and invest money but when he said to do research about it first I did and was amazed about bitcoin. |

In 2012 I wanted to buy one Domain .com and I saw that the Payment was accepted in Bitcoin, so I was looking it, wanted to download the Wallet, and after I gived up.. because didn't belived it.  .. And after I saw the drop price from 1300$ to 200+$ I was saying that it's a Scam. So.. try to learn from other's mistakes.. and take the good decisions when you see that you have the opportunity. |

They always talk about bitcoin and earning money through internet. I ask them how to do it. They teach me about it and that is how I started from bitcoin. |

I know bitcoins with my co-workers. I saw them posting tokens on the internet with their value. So I was amazed that it was true that they met us the next day. They taught me here in the forum. At first I was very tired, But they said in the Local thread first I would like to read and look for answers.

I heard about Bitcoin in 2010, read 1-2 article and did nothing. I didn't believe that something digital (currencies) have any potential, but I was wrong. The price of my mistake is great — I didn't earn money that I could spend now. And now, I have just registred on bitcointalk and looking for new information of how to earn money with crypto and blockchain.
