I did hear Bitcoin first from my cousin who first discovered Bitcoin. We all thought it is something nonsense and one of the senseless websites. But no! From my cousin to the youngest person in the house, knew Bitcoin!

I heard bitcoin first in 2011 through the internet, and I totally ignored it and I was not interested to read anything and any articles regarding it. It was totally alien from most people at that time because even in schools they never taught bitcoin and the technology of blockchain.

My first experience of bitcoin was a random encounter with a stranger back in about 2013, he told me about bitcoin on a train but I didn't think too much of it, I then was reintroduced properly a few times and finally bit the bullet earlier this year.

In 2013 i read about bitcoin from a newspaper. After reading the article i start searching about it. I saw some sites where we can earn some satoshi by playing faucet i found it time waste. But i didn't lift my head from it and start more digging and found some more cool ways like mining and trading to earn bitcoin. Every thing has to be learnt in the beginning and it take time to become expert in everything including bitcoins.

I first heard of bitcoin is way back 2014. My friend who is trying to pursuade me in trying bitcoin that day but I had huge doubt about it that is why I did not tried to invest to it, which is my biggest regret. But I am moving forward now. That friend of mine is now wealthy but not that much because he is wasting it but ho am I to teach him about money.

When I first heard the bitcoin initially did not believe it and did not understand how it works. Some time to come I see there is my friend who uses bitcoin and I started to ask how about the bitcoin. After being explained at length it turns out the technology of the system offered to use bitcoin is so sophisticated and by that time I started to plunge into the world of cryptocurrency. Initially, I was very difficult to get the bitcoin, but over time I continue to learn and find solutions how to get bitcoin consistently per month. This struggle will not work if we do not continue to learn and be creative to reach the dream.

Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

I first heard about bitcoin when my friend introduced it to me, he said that the new thing is cryptocurrencies, I got curious and tried to learn about it, then I got to this forum, which taught me more than enough to understand how cryptocurrencies work, as well as the work you can do here.

I heard about it back when I was in high school. Around 2011-2013. I believe I'd also seen some mentions of it online before that but never looked into it. I didn't research it back then as much as I wish I did. I tried mining but didn't have a decent computer at the time, and got bored of it very quickly after mining only around 0.1 BTC. Oh how I wish I could go back in time.

Even I tried a bit of mining in 2014, but wasn't much successful. Then I abandoned my plans to mine BTC and started mining LTC in my office computer. This time I was more lucky, and I was earning around 0.1 LTC per day from mining. And a few weeks later the LTC prices increased to almost $50 per coin and I cashed out most of my mined coins.

It was advertising banner, but then I didn't take seriously. I regret to this day, because I had a chance to earn a lot of bitcoins.
