How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I discover bitcoin by the help of other forum, since i need some extra income i got easily interested in this way of earning before i start in claiming faucets then by then i am not contented by the earning and i search for other method and google show me this forum. Now i am the one who teach some of my office mates, also my wife got interest in this kind of source of income and her office mates come to our home to ask about bitcoin. By helping others i am happy the result of their effort.

I first heard about Bitcoin in early 2011 when two friends were debating about it. After long debate...one joked that he owns the moon and can sell it to the other guy (one defending Bitcoin) for a cheap price of 5k. We all laughed about it.
Later, I was watching a TV show and the episode was about a lawyer (Good Wife) defending someone involved with Bitcoins. I only watched about 10 minutes of the show and quickly got bored and then went to play indoor soccer at a nearby stadium with the kids that were bored.
I do remember checking the price of Bitcoin and it was around $3.45 and I then had this thought...maybe I should do some research into this.
I lost interested in 2012 after I read a news story about something big being "hacked" and then I saw some negative posts about bitcoins after the hack. I think it was around $5.00 at that time.

first of all i had heard of bitcoin from my maternal uncle. after that i also heard news in bitcoin and watch videos on YouTube.

I heard the bitcoin the first time from my child and I was not interested in that time, some times my son asked to join bitcoin but I always refused because I did not believe, a few years later bitcoin price became very expensive and my son proved with the result of bitcoin , finally i joined bitcoin and believe that bitcoin has a future, now my work after work is with bitcoin.

Yes as they say bad publicity is still a publicity.  Never heard about that news.  Good thing that you were able to paid a try.  I first heard bitcoin at the groupchat where I was included.  I just read their conversations about bitcoin and how much it values.  After that I asked my friend and told me to try.  Kind of hesitant but thankful that I have the guts to try.  Now, I am so happy earning with bitcoins.

I know Bitcoin from my friend. at that time my friend is nobody but he can earn a lot of money, then I ask, where do you get the money? he replied from Bitcoin. at that moment I was immediately attracted to Bitcoin and I told my friend to teach me.

Well at first it was introduced to my husband through his cousins. While I am evesdropping, the thing going on in my mind was that it was a scam or some sort of networking. But then it had appeared to me that it was a legitimate source of money and a known currency as well. I have done some inquiry with some techy friends and it was confirmed that it is legit.
From there, I have joined the forum and some paying signature campaigns. And so far, O am enjoying reading articles here about bitcoin. I have found out that there are a lot of ways in earning bitcoin. Nowadays, I am currently interested in trading.

Something similar happened to me. As far as I can remember, the first time I heard about it was when Mt. Gox scandal was reported in the news. I didn’t pay much attention then. After that, whenever I heard of it was when an ATH was reported but it seemed something too complicated. This year bitcoin and cryptos began being frequently reported in local news because of the rise in price, especially of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Then was when I decided to investigate about them and get into the crypto world.

if I hear the bitcoin from my friend who has been building the bitcointalk account for quite some time, I'm curious at first. but over time when you know the bitcoin we are even dizzy and the longer the bitcoin is getting tighter.

I first hear about bitcoins last two years ago when I was once became a member of a community of donations in which bitcoin is the money used. I was confused at first about bitcoins but as I learned about it I enjoyed taking transactions and knowing some other investments about bitcoins. I have no regret that I became a member of that community although it was down because , because of them I have known bitcoins.

Well in the beginning, what i heard about bitcoin is only a token or a prize for any online games and no one appreciate it even me. In the beginning of 2017 people started to talk about it thru social media about this currency and now what happen to the value of this in the market,its like a bubble, generating its value every single.
