After looking at the different amounts that are missing from each affiliate account it appears someone has made a decision to cut 80% of all conversion payouts. I looked at the amounts others should have received and that cut was pretty obvious even with my own acct. . Realistically it may be because they didn't expect so many people to refer in the U.S. like they did and don't want to pay out all of that money.

Also if anyone can look at that graph on yahoo finance their stock lost money. So if they were really doing incredibly well not only with their affiliates not have an approx 80% ( disappearance of their earned monies)  the commission payout wouldn't have gone from 35cad down to 5cad, and their manager that was handling affiliate accts wouldn't have been swapped out for someone new.


I'm not going to post the affiliate names here but these are the posts and they're growing...

1.I had this same problem. I make $317.25 and I only got paid $72.02. If this is correct, this company is a waste of my time.

Also all of the people that waited to be approved for affiliates are now thinking wow did they just pay me $3 and a few cents for a sign up here in the states as all of the updated info isn't going around fast enough.

The worst thing is that many of these people got friends and family to join. Once this goes out it will go around like wildfire.

Anyone that is truly intelligent can see ponzi written all over this as the little guy gets screwed in the end. I could have been promoting Capital One or Netspend but I really like the "getting gold to everyone world wide" forward thought process.

Far too many Americans didn't trust it and they just proved they were right not to. Sad really.

My posts was referring to affiliate payouts.

The Gold Heart Refer -A -Friend program takes 60 days to redeem. Why would it take so long because they're probably hoping you deposit some money in that time. The first anniversary of that program should be showing up in a few weeks but those are mostly Canadian accts and I doubt they'll screw over their own people.

Americans that have same sign ups? Eh? I don't know. I'm really at a loss. If they went from 35cad down to 5 for affiliates I'm not exactly sure if that free gold is really going to be redeemable. Most of the people that would have joined up after this month went smoothly aren't touching this company with a ten foot poll. If you can't pay the people that are getting the word out there and drumming up interest who is going to trust you with their hard earned money?

Another Oddity? People that made at least one purchase aren't having this issue but again they didn't make this a requirement.

They're also holding off bitcoin transfers in and out because as we know that's a fastest route to transfers. Making Americans have to do wire only makes sure to prolong the process as I'm already seeing some accts have been waiting 5 days for their 20% payout.

Ohh just saw a new post from someone that said her transactions have all disappeared from her affiliate account. Wow what a mess.

Most of the btc/ltc/dash/doge faucets I go to daily have ads up for bitgold. I wonder if they're actually going to get paid.

Someone asked why did I trust this? Well my mother originally turned me onto bitgold because I've been chewing her ear off about bitcoin. She felt this would be prefect and their mission goal seemed like a noble undertaking. She fell down the stairs and broke her foot so I jumped in with both feet and really started promoting even paying for ad space to get the word out.

Her bitgold balance is screwed and so is mine. We don't live in the same state so it's not like we shared the same computer. Mistakes happen but this was an obvious deliberate "project slash conversion spending".

Now I can already see the spin of "well they didn't provide all required documentation" sorry that was done THREE TIMES. Next up will be well some of the emails were fake. Right yet you don't include a guideline of how long an email acct should be established before signing up with it. Next will be some bs fraud complaint. Anything to push the responsibility off of their shoulders because they never had the intention of paying all of that money out to begin with.

If anyone expects their money to be in these accounts? Then you're brave. Could they shape up in the future? Perhaps but the beginnings lay the foundation of trust. If they screw over the people that were trying to gain interest in their product well you'll have to worry about what they'll do when handling your money.

Ohh and if people think they'll be able to anonymously transfer around bitcoin and gold on their site? Not going to happen. You'll have to identify yourself or they can just freeze or close your acct.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Bitgold, Inc reeks of a scam and/or disaster waiting to happen.

--People behind it have zero tech devops experience.

--Sketchy reverse merger to "go public" : reeks of pump and dump.

--"Customer Service" dancing around questions and responding to serious qualms with platitudes.

--Inconsistencies in amounts of capital raised, investors who are participating, etc, etc.

--Beta Site but no users-- why has no one posted screenshots of working account?

--Already have litigation with Bitreserve: a respected and established, albeit centralized, service.

Do we really need another Paycoin, Neo & Bee, Mt. Gox.

Even if these guys aren't just pumping and dumping a la Garza, with no tech chops at all it's pretty much guaranteed that they will be hacked before too long.

You'll forgive me if it all seems a bit fishy-- a company without a product or service (just a countdown clock), raises $3.5mm from the Soros children, then a month or so later opts to reverse-merge into a public shell company. This is not the way tech start-ups are usually built, as you are maybe aware.
Also, can you please explain this SEC Filing. It seems to indicate that Bitgold has raised or is seeking to raise 600k from US investors. Are those the Soros children?
I'm sorry if this comes across as overly-skeptical. The bitcoin community has suffered through so many scams that I really hope these guys are legit.
And there have been so many hacks of poorly-architected sites and systems that I really, really am concerned about the total lack of devops and tech start-up experience of Sebag and Crumb. So far i have made over 500$ in the ref system and havnt got paid yet , not until the first of next month.

Well, at least one person sees it as I see it, along with others elsewheres slowly but surely coming to the same conclusions, at least one I've quoted. I've literally spent a few hours reading various write-ups of the key characters, researching addresses, and various other Google-fuing I do, and for the life of me I can't see how this thing ticks.
