Did anyone watch the first test match between England and NZ this mornings section?

England has all out for just 58 runs and only two bowlers from NZ side bowled just 10 overs each to finish England's first innings batting. Only two batsmen scored more than 10 runs and five batsmen got out for zero runs. NZ bowlers Boult took six wickets and Southee took four wickets. England just played 20.4 overs and now NZ has scored already 101 runs and lost just two wickets in 42 overs. England side eight batsmen scored 33 runs in 25 balls. That's they can cross 50 runs mark otherwise may be all out for 30 overruns.

They lost 9 wickets just for 29 runs but 9th wickets partnership made England cross 50 runs margin England must thankful to Craig Overton. excellent bowling from Trent Boult and Tim Southee. NZ have full chance to win this test match now they scored 128/3 and lead by 70 runs. I think this test match will finish very soon.

England have a pathetic recent record away from home. It doesn't look like it is going to get any better. New Zealand batsmen showed that this pitch has no devils in it. England were in danger of posting their lowest ever test score, but were saved by their last wicket partnership.

Tough luck for Zimbabwe, but UAE held their nerve to win this match. The margin of victory for UAE was only 3 runs, but that was enough to stop Zimbabwe's dreams of playing the World Cup. An established test playing team will not be part of the World Cup this time. Ireland and Afghanistan will be thanking UAE for giving them an opportunity to qualify for the World Cup.

I really could not believe my eyes on seeing the scorecard live,it was 23 for the loss of 8 wickets at one stage and it was a magical spell of bowling by Boult and well supported by Southee, this is one of the most embarrassing moments for England in a very long time ,there is no way that England could come back in this match from this situation as New Zealand is set to post a huge total.

Yes finally a 2 times champion West Indies qualified 2019 world cup. this is their prestige matter but they did it congrats to WI. now, who will qualify for the last position Afghanistan or Zimbabwe?

It is hard to see West Indies struggling to get qualified for the world cup considering that they were such a dominant force in the past ,i wanted to see Afghanistan getting qualification for the next world cup as they have some incredible world class players .

England really need to improved if they are to have a shot in this test match, however I can't see it happening as their recent poor form in Australia has continued on in New Zealand. Its very rare to see a top team score less in 100 runs in a test match innings and they were very lucky not to get their lowest record.

In the test match between South Africa and Australia, I would say that its about even after the first day. Australia bowled well and should be batting early on in day two.

Afghanistan won their match against Ireland by 5 wickets, with 5 balls to spare. A target of 210 might not appear a lot, but the pitch was a slow one. Ireland bowlers pulled the match back in the middle overs with a few quick wickets. A tense match, but Afghanistan emerged victorious. Nobody would haven them any chance of qualifying, given the way they started this tournament.

Suppose if NZ gives 300+ runs lead then it will be tough for England to save this test match, I think England will come back in 2nd innings and make this test match Draw. Now the match depends on Rain and England batting NZ is safe in this match.

The odds in favour of a draw are slowly increasing, but no thanks to the English cricket team's performance. After most of the second day's play was washed out, rain played spoil sport on the third day as well. Only 17 balls were possible. The best strategy for New Zealand would be to declare immediately and put England to bat. There is no chance of New Zealand losing, but an immediate declaration might put pressure on England.

Really feeling bad for NZ because they showed brilliant performance on the test against England but seems.like the rain won't let them win this match.Currently, they are 175 runs ahead and they have 2 full days to play.But if rain continue to interrupt ,I am afraid that it won't be possible for NZ to seal the match.

2 days left that is more enough to win this match for NZ but next 2 days rain should not disturb then only it is possible. NZ already lead by 175 runs tomorrow if they play 2 more sessions and add 150 more runs means it will become tough for England to win this match. but according to weather report tomorrow also rain will come let's see what will happen.

Unfortunately, the focus is now on ball-tampering rather than the South African batsmen.

Yeah it looks like South Africa look certain to win this test match now as they lead by 294 runs with 5 wickets in hand. With AB de Villiers still at the crease on 51 should see South Africa get at least a 350+ run lead unless Australia are able to get him early on in the first 10 overs on day 4. 350+ runs will be very tough to chase down on this up and down pitch, even 300 runs will be a winning total I believe for South Africa. Australia have also admitted to ball tampering so we'll see what happens after this test match where this is concerned.
