Well that ended quickly in the 2nd test between Australia and England. Australia destroyed England after England looked good last night and I thought they had a big chance to win this test match. Australia deserved the victory as they were on top from day 1 and showed once again that they are very tough to beat at home. Now it will be very tough for England to get back into this series but if they ever were going to get back into it, then the next test match in Perth is the place to do it as England do seem to play well on that pitch.

Day 3 stumps and still SL is trail by 180 runs.SL batted well in first innings as they scored 369 for 9.India have to bat well also in 2nd innings.I think India will get a huge win again.

OTOH, Aus bowled Eng in 227 runs.But Australia lost 4 quick wickets for scoring just 53 runs.Australia is lead by 268 runs.Australia have to scores as much run as they can tomorrow.I think the pitch has turned into bowling pitch so England have to bat carefully in 2nd innings.

Sri Lankan's tried pretty well, but still the trail is huge in terms of wickets remaining. Even if the players plays well, then also I believe its too tough for end batsman. The trail will continue I think and probably if Sri Lankans can hold on it can be a draw or else a huge win for sure.

About the Ashes, Anderson and Woakes just gave a light for them in the tournament. The quick wickets will help them I think. I feel this can be a draw as England batsmanif wwants can defend pretty well.

India has gained a huge lead for now, close to 300 runs and only 3 wickets have gone.Kohli is on the grease and it would be great to see him score another century and declare the innings

any score above 500 will give India a good support to defend it as Sri Lanka batsman are weak in scoring the target as the lower order are not able to support the batting

India gave a good target to SL and 2nd innings they declared at the right time. The target is 410 runs, but SL lost 3 early wickets just for 31 runs. They need to score 379 runs to win this match and 7 wickets in hand. I think it is not possible India will win this test match.

Sri Lanka requires another 167 runs to win this match and still, they got another five wickets. SL will play for a match to get a draw and that is possible only if they can play without losing then only they go for a draw and now they left only last five players and they may not be so good in batting. Let's see how Indian bowlers will show their performance to win the match.

Seriously this is an unbelievable performance from Sri Lankan team. Last day when they lost 3 wickets just for 30 runs, people thought India would win this match easily, but today they played a real test match and saved the game. I think many people lost their bets on this test match am I right?

This is really great fight by them even today's first wicket Mathews was out on No Ball but still they hold nerves and done great job now we can say they are in much better team which we watch at home against India

Seriously this is an unbelievable performance from Sri Lankan team. Last day when they lost 3 wickets just for 30 runs, people thought India would win this match easily, but today they played a real test match and saved the game. I think many people lost their bets on this test match am I right?

Absolutely Brilliant performance, on 3rd day end, it was kind of pointing towards draw, but Cricket recently became very unpredictable. But the way Sri Lankans defended themselves was good. I felt like they at the end was just playing to make it a tie, which is by every way a good move in test.

On the other hand Australian Bowlers, did some fabulous job, the wickets of England were like nothing to them. Starc might have given a good 88 runs to there opponent but those 5 Wickets did the magic. The 2nd Test was pretty enjoyable.

It was good that Sri Lanka gave a much improved performance in this test match. A lot of people thought that their complaining about the pollution in New Delhi was just theatrics because they couldn't compete. Their batting performance was strong in both the first and second innings and India could't force a victory.

It is a team game, but the root was in good form so people thought he could manage to play with remaining batsman and win this game, and the score is also not high just 170 runs. 4th innings and 5th day match are really unpredictable we can not be able to guess who will win. Bad luck for ENG.

They already scored 173 runs and lost three wickets. I think NZ can easily score more than 400 runs in this innings which will be tough for WI team to score. Yes these two teams ate highly unpredictable teams, especially in test matches both teams will give worst performance throughout the series but any of one game they will bounce back that we can't predict. So it is risky to take any decssion against these two teams. 286/7  is a good score if they try to make 50 more runs it will be a good score in 1st innings.
