There is some exciting news coming in from Namibia. Cricket South Africa (CSA) has agreed for a T20I match between the two sides on 11th October 2025. The match will take place at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground. It will be the first ever international match between these two teams. The same ground is scheduled to host matches during the ODI World Cup in 2027, and has a capacity of 7000. I would like to see other full members scheduling similar one-off fixtures with the associate teams.

Portugal absolutely crushed it. They won big against Malta in 5th match by 8 wickets with 30 balls left really showing how strong they are. Malta batted first after winning toss but their 133 runs just were not enough on this pitch. Sharn Gomes is star player for Portugal scoring amazing 65 runs quickly which made chasing runs much easier. Everyone on Portugal team showed great teamwork and skill making it truly deserved win. Yes Kwibuka Women T20 Tournament clearly shows how much sport is growing all over Africa. It is even reaching places that did not traditionally play cricket like countries that used to be colonies of France or Portugal. It is truly amazing that this year is 11th time tournament has been held. This proves how committed Rwanda Cricket Association has been since they started it back in 2014. Fact is that 9 different countries are taking part and even Brazil is there this time really highlights that tournament is becoming more popular around world and that sport itself is becoming much more diverse. This event is perfect example of how much cricket is successfully spreading globally.

The 5th match of Women's T20 was between Rwanda Women and Sierre Women. As we know that Rwanda Women play very strong and well and have won the match, their victory in this match was also very clear. They had recently scored less runs than in the match, but despite this their hard and strong bowling helped them win, which is an important role in their victory. In this match, Rwanda Women batsmen scored 135 runs which was not that much, but Sierre Women batsmen scored only 80 runs which led to their defeat. If they had played well and scored runs with struggle in the match, they could have achieved this target in 20 overs. But Rwanda Women bowling was quite strong, due to which they did not prove to be strong in the match.There was no interest in this match either because Rwanda Women is not giving any team a chance to become stronger.
