Rather than getting carried away, Indians should introspect their weaknesses. In the spin department, India is looking extremely weak. Neither Varun Chakravarthy, nor Washington Sundar could contain the opposition batsmen in this tournament. Pace was handled in a nice way by Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, with Hardick Pandya backing up. At least I would say that pace looks more healthier than spin for India. But the real issue is spin, and this is going to have a long-term impact. If Chakravarthy and Sundar are not performing then time has come to replace them.
