If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

I do not agree with this. Bitcoin is the first digital currency and has many subcoins bases so it is very powerful. it will be in our lives in the future. the ethereum project was successful and the number of participants was very high. it will be one of the biggest brand coins in the future.

I does not think so. Yes, Ethereum is a good coin and its position is very high from all other Altcoins. But Bitcoin is the base of the cryptocurreny  and I think there is no chance of any coin over take it in the near future.

I am not sure that until 5 years later, the ethereum can replace the bitcoin or the price will be higher rather than bitcoin. It is too difficult for ethereum to compete with bitcoin and to beat the value of bitcoin. Until now, the price of ethereum still depend with bitcoin's value. Few days ago,  as we can see in the coinmarketcap, the price of ethereum still goes down and still have a big gap between the value of ethereum and bitcoin. But i can't predict like 10 years later, can ethereum beat the bitcoin and be the future of crypto? Because the demand of ethereum is bigger and most of the project use ethereum's platform as a basic transaction. And everything is possible in crypto's world, so who know..

Ethereum does have more innovations than 99% of the altcoins out there and Microsoft Azure implementation might give it a big push forward, though I wouldn't hold my breath for that. Bitcoin still the future of crypto no matter what happens. Many of us think that bitcoin cannot comeback from its current situation now and ethereum is now leading a big gap against bitcoin. But we all know when the time of bitcoin returns, we will accept the fact that bitcoin is still the number coins here in crypto due to its price market value, reputation, and more successful projects from the ICO's. Also a lot of investor are still investing on bitcoin even though bitcoin is on its deepest whole. And for me just focus for what could really happen now on the market if there will be some twist and comeback for the price.
