I don't think so.  Btc and Eth can be the future of crypto.
Both are good coin to invest.
I think the price will be growing in every year.
BTC and ETH are still popular coin and most seek by everyone.

This post is over 3 years old and Bitcoin is still top dog.  I don't think even the most powerful coins will overtake Bitcoin for quite some time.  Being the best and fastest coin appears not to be as important as being the first mover.

Ethereum is better than bitcoin because it is always broadcast on airdrop, so I think Ethereum is the most popular on bitcoin.  Etherium is focused on smart contracts .

ether solves some important market needs. its smart contracts have helped many new projects raise money. ether makes the encryption market more prosperous. there is no new breakthrough in bitcoin, from 2008 to the present. i think ether may replace bitcoin in the future

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

Do you mean that the price alone determines whether a thing would be future? I don't think so. There have been so many fuss about this ethereum thing, though I wouldn't deny the fact that it is interesting, but most of the news about it seems to be overrated and exaggerated.

The price determines the survival of it. I think that not a good criticism of a particular coin. Whether it is dumping or not. It is normal to a coin to dump because we all know that bitcoin or all cryptocurrencies are volatile in terms of price. The prive dumps and pumps by time because of many transaction being processed everytime.

Ethereum is not the future of crypto money market. Bitcoin is the largest crypto currency in the crypto money market. I do not expect this situation to change. Bitcoin's market dominance is at the top. Do not forget the fact that the price is volatile.

I'm holding both bitcoin and ethereum. Hopefully they both go higher!  It would be a good thing to have some and then dump though but never had i had an interested to buy and keep them for life. Maybe because I always see it too good to be true. I still keep my faith to BTC and ETH

Bitcoin is the top cryptocurrency and will remain that way for a while more like the way dollar is the king of all fiat even tho its not the most valuable.
Bitcoin is the poster coin for all cryptos and it will be a very long time before all the Bitcoins will be mined and completely circulated.
