I think that's not going to happen.If there is no Bitcoin,there is no altcoins. It's better to invest bitcoin if you invest have enough investment then followed by the ethereum and other altcoins.Ethereum is good but as other said ther is always an issue about Ethereum so we could probably say there is a risk if you put all to Ethereum.

I think ether has a lot going for it. The sheer amount of new stuff in the pipeline is super exciting. I'm not sure if it can dethrone bitcoin (the name recognition alone would be hard to overcome) at any point in the near future but I'm not sure it really needs to.

I have heard many opinions for it but I also have heard many opinions against it, on thinking that only time and crypto community can show us the result. And nobody cannot predict for sure how would be like.

I dont think that something can be better than Bitcoin. Big investors do not care about some better coins, they trust in well-estabilished crypto - Bitcoin, so they will invets only into Bitcoin and that is why Bitcoin was, is and will be the biggest one.
