It is a really pathetic situation and so is the case with some African countries too,if you have bad economic decisions the country will suffer without a doubt ,those stupid government thought they could counter the market situations by pumping more currencies and that spiraled the entire economic situation and messed the entire situation.

When the availability increase than the requirement, surely the value of the dollar will decrease. So just based on the value backing dollar is printed and few countries have did the same these days.

But governments now a days not at all worrying about long term perspective but looking for solving immediate problems that is the reason they are simply printing money regardless of their reserving and production levels which slowly pushing down common people with less buying powered momentary system.

I do hear united states is not at all following the basic criteria of printing currency notes or they might have altered those basics as per their need. But still dollars has power against most developing country. It may be possible for them with export levels but any sudden changes may backfire them for sure.

All this comes down to the idea of instant gratification. Instead of solving the problem by making the economy of the country grow, they just print more money and don't even consider how will that affect the common people. People think that things has become more expensive but in reality, it's just their currency inflating. The jobs pay the same amount but the value of that same money has already declined.

I wouldn't really think about it that much. Most leaders aren't team players. The country needs to pay something? They signal on printing more money. They don't do long term solutions because they are just there so they can do corruption. A lot of presidents were elected for business. They invest money on advertisements during the campaign and then they get more money in return when by corrupting the whole country when they win. Maybe this doesn't happen on US but in most countries especially third world ones. It's also the reason why some countries, despite of having abundant resources, don't get rich.

All countries do this. Printing money results in inflation; printing more money results in more inflation. In the end, the government has to decide what is an acceptable inflation target.

If you keep printing dollars, the currency will become valueless. The Spanish have done the same thing before and that is what happened.

I think it out before, why they did not print a lot of money to avoid shortage and debt into other countries. In the Philippines every Filipino born, they will have debt in big bank company worth P300,000 or $6000, I don't know if it is true. Printing money was a good idea but the money will low value because people can make their money and the ecosystem will imbalance. Solar energy should really not be your example. First of all, solar energy is available for all and pretty much the whole world gets solar energy. The time when solar energy gets value is when it's processed into becoming electricity. Electricity is very valuable. So, if anyone has enough money to buy large solar panels, he can use solar energy and even sell the energy to other people. Solar energy surely has value because you can use it as electricity. It's just that, people don't have the equipment to accumulate electricity from solar energy.

tl;dr: Solar energy doesn't have value yet because you can't use it. With equipment, you can use it and that's the time it will have value.

 and everyone can be rich, right? Centralized currency like it is dollar keeps all of us in slavery, with ever rising inflation its doomed to fail one day, or better to say explode. In history you can find many
examples in history about it. Bitcoin will have 21 million coins and that is all with that we can have fear from deflation, but again bitcoin can be separated on smaller units and that is advantage that bitcoin have

Take a look at Zimbabwe, they have extreme inflation and the value of their paper money is around "one hundred trillion dollars" (check it on the internet) but in reality, it's just less than a dollar. All countries do this. Printing money results in inflation; printing more money results in more inflation. In the end, the government has to decide what is an acceptable inflation target.

Government do not decide what is an acceptable inflation target is. It is all decided by federal bank. Federal Reserve banks decide to inflation range. So as you talking about print money result. Print money is the result of inflation as more money prints then the result of assets price goes up. So that's why printing too much money causes inflation.

Exactly brother. As long as they print more money than the usual the more the money gets less valuable. The supply of paper bills goes high while the demand will be less because of the supply. The logic here even though they can print more paper bills, they will not do that because it just gets less valuable.

Only kids think of this idea. I thought of this once and I was just a little kid. I grew and and found out that things that are plenty have lesser values and limited things have more values (although of course there are some other limited things that are useless, hence, making them valueless). Not only dollars, but all the currencies as well, they print out their currencies whenever they have to pay for debt from other countries.

It wouldn't be so surprising if America would print tons more of dollars because of their debt from China and other countries. America is in massive debt.

If our countries print the same amount of money that will not be guaranteed by the gold reserve that is available, then any country can thus turn into Zimbabwe. But I think that the government does at least some steps to prevent this. Although in reality today the economy has died very hard and it seems to me that we are on the verge of a grandiose rascal.

I don't understand economics before but when I was able to learn about this type of things. I realized that this will make a country into becoming poorer.

Just like in bitcoin, the lesser supply the higher value.
