From here seems like Slimcoin has been listed on hoo.com, SLM/USDT pair, but if I go to the site I'm not seeing SLM there.

It is an old info. You can see price of SLM 3 dollars, it was once upon a time Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yep, seems like there used to be this page on their site: https://hoo.com/spot/slm-usdt, but it's not available anymore.

SLM Wallet is down on Freiexchange I've contacted their support and have spoken with @Fedde and he told me he'd have a look, but for the moment nothing has been solved.  Sad

It's a pity as we've had some nice movement there lately.

Update: The issue has been solved!

I see very nice distribution of SLM per wallets if explorer is accurate enough.

The value of SLM is growing these days, probably someone has understood it.

I have a fully synced slimcoin wallet with 4 connections, version 0.6.0.0-g8e9fe2c-alpha on Windows 8.1. The block high is the same as for the cryptoID blockchain explorer. But I'm not able so send coins from my wallet, I get an meaningless error message. I'm a newby with slimcoin.

The debug.log shows the following messages, that I cannot interpret:

Hi PeterColumboFalk,

are you using slimcoin-qt or directly slimcoind?

I use slimcoin-qt

The debug.log line you mentioned is not helping us much in this case as it states basically that a block was accepted.

What error message are you receiving on slimcoin-qt wallet when you try to send funds?

You've compiled slimcoin-qt by yourself, right?

I did not compile it myself, I have it from
https://github.com/slimcoin-project/Slimcoin/releases/tag/SLMv0.6.0

The error message in german is: "Fehler: Transaktionserstellung fehlgeschlagen". It's something like "transaction failed".

Hm, it can be that the app you are using was compiled for a different setup or it's some bug of the beta version.
Would you give a try the older, but stable version?
The file can be downloaded from here.

I dont know how much of SLM you have. But you have to send it in small portions. Like if yo have 1000 SLM and you cant send it, try smaller amounts, like 700, or 500 or 300. If you did mining this happens because of many small transactions, So just reduce sending amounts of SLM until 0

I tried a fraction of my full stake too, but same failure. The full stake came in in one transaction, so no fragmentation.

I try another version of the wallet.

However, try in smaller transactions to send. This the same error i am getting and i have to do divide in smaller parts SLM when i want to send

I sync with version 0.5.0 now, it will take some days. I cannot reuse the wallet.dat file, it fails to start. They seem to be incompatible in both versions. This shall not be a problem, I dump and import the private keys later.

That's would greatly accelerate the sync process.

UPDATE: I also have a slimcoin-qt.exe compiled by Graham relatively recently, if the attempt with the previous version fails I can send the file I have to you. Or if you desire I can send it to you even now, just let me know.
