I have made an update to the site. A detailed post and activity period breakdown is now showed. Activity, posts, and rank is calculated by the site in-house instead of pulling data from Bitcointalk. This is more accurate as Bitcointalk can take several hours to update stats like activity and rank.

I am seeing the difference now as these additional details where added, i think your website is unique with the total posts by boards Smiley Keep it up, nice job.

it could be a good idea add in the estimator page this useful link, or the same information inside.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Information about rank, signature limits, badges and so on!

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Nice update, I noticed too that it is faster now to get informations about the accounts but I have a remark which may not be that important, when someone for example made 5 posts in a period lets pick randomly 1 January-14 January then he didn't made any post in the next period (14-28 January) then he made 3 posts in the third period 28-10 February, the result will be like this: (didn't respect the form)
1-28 January : 5 posts
28 January-10 February : 3 posts
Wouldn't it better to be like this? Just to individualise each period
1-14 January: 5 posts
14-28 January : 0 post
28 January -10 February: 3 posts.
Just an idea that I got and want to share it with you. I don't mind keeping it like that too Smiley

Great app. I'm experimenting with it. One problem I have is that it's not working :3

You say there is a place where you have to put in a bitcointalk account login, so it can check the user's trust, and I've made an account for this, but I can't find that snippet of code. Could you tell me where it is?

There's something wrong with the trust rating on your script recently. I tried to estimate the price of Tradefortress out of curiosity but his account was showing neutral trust. Tongue

The same thing happened when I tried to check mine...

BTW, there is no need to show that note beside "Potential Legendary" members who have already become a legendary member.

The process of the estimator is getting faster than before
It made me member the first time I use this estimator, it was very slow that time.

Yeah, that is probably because I changed the HTML parser I was using. Previously it was using HTMLUnit and reading the HTML source files line by line. I am now in the process of migrating it over to use JSoup, which is probably working faster than before.

That is a good idea. I think I can make it so that it would only get the addresses that you have posted in non quoted text, so it may grab an address that isn't yours. I would definitely make it so that it would only pull addresses from the stake your address thread and the marketplace section.

heh so I ran the estimator today for fun...and now get only worth 0.111 btc and my post value is very poor......sigh Smiley....alas strike me in the heart.... Sad

considering most folk say my posts are too long......i guess he has a 'quality estimator' heh Smiley....i post a lot at work they don't mind (group home awake staff they also have TV)
boredom and typing way too fast what I think perhaps is the problem?

not as impressed now as I was on previous estimation ...when quality of posts was excellent etc and my worth on sig was 0.560 btc so whatever tweak happened was 'devastating"

then again not selling so it don't matter except this was amusing to run Smiley

edit: found the problem has me NOT as HERO MEMBER but as FULL with my ACTIVITY AT 196 my posts at 590 Smiley

as you can see from my little Avatar on the side of this message I am a HERO member and my ACTIVITY IS  840 and posts are 3525 Smiley

quote below:

Name: Searing
Posts: 540
Activity: 196 (Full Member)
Potential Activity: 196 (Potential Full Member)
Post Quality: Very Poor
Trust: Neutral
Estimated Price: 0.11172000

so perhaps I have been 'vindicated' and it is all a bug Smiley
