I get the same error, no matter which account I try to check. I don't think there is another similar website. I will send PM to achow101, author of the website.

I HAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ONLY BECAUSE I AM SELLING/BUYING BITCOINTALK ACCOUNTS. PLEASE CHECK MY FEEDBACK, I NEVER SCAMMED ANYONE.

The site can't be reached right now. Anyway once you have that fixed what information is stored? Is an IP address stored for example?

I have a feeling that the estimations are way too high compared to the actual market price. I think the developers should at least update the formula/code at least once every, say fortnight. Otherwise it's not even an estimation instead it's just misleading information.

It's an estimator and your account is only worth what people are willing to pay for it which changes per person. I think the website is more valuable for telling you how much activity and potential you have as well as showing staked addresses.

Wow people saying a Hero account can go for 1 BTC, how long does it take to become one? And is it worth selling kowing you could use signatures to get a steady stream of income. Or has the income reduced as there are more and more offers of less than valuable altcoins?

A hero account really isn't worth 1 BTC, how did you get that number? Do you have a source?
I can't imagine that this price estimator would give you an estimate of 1 BTC for a hero account.

Plus it isn't really worth selling your account anyway, you earn more by just participating in a signature campaign in the long run and you're basically also enabling scammers.

Check prices for accounts here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

Btw, my own legendary account is 'only' valued at 0.20664000 BTC by this tool.

I just tried this and I've got to say this is a pretty interesting tool. I'm not interested in selling my account whatsoever but it's pretty cool to see what the value would be if I were to sell it (which I'm not). Big ups to you archow! Great stuff.

Also the account value estimated by the tool is inaccurate. It has been repeatedly told many times.Accounts on the forum are usually sold at much lower/higher rates and it's subjective.Bitcoin prices strictly affect these numbers.

It is a good indicator of the value of an account.
As an old skool coder myself, writing a spider is VERY satisfying! And hats off to this chap for creating one!
Also, hats off to Bitcoin Forum, for allowing him to spider the site.

Why would somebody will sell their account? I mean, the owner could even get a lot of money using that account rather than selling it to a lower price.
But anyway, this kind of project is very effective to sort out the quality of post and could evaluate the owner's reputation, character or behavior or something useful in psychology.

It seems to me that the cost of the account is rather arbitrary, as there are so many things that you can hide from the buyer and only after the purchase he will find out, but it will be too late.

The price isn't accurate and was no longer the main future of the website. There you can get good informations about accounts, potential activities, weeks to reach the next rank, Bitcoin addresses...

This is gonna be useful and will provide fairness to those who are doing their best to make quality posts. Account price should not be opinionated but as a buyer, he or she should also take the initiative to check. What's good about this project development is that it will help the others to weigh in the amount through technical estimation. Because sometimes especially if you are new, you can be easily fooled and might buy accounts that were banned even without negative trusts.

Why is the website showing different values on these?

Activity: 29 (Newbie)

my accounts status as of now is:

Posts:   32
Activity:   28 (not including this post)

and lastly how are you computing this?
Potential Activity: 112 (Potential Member) is it based on the registration date and the 14 days formula or any special computations used?

Potential activity is really important, in fact I used this website only for that when my activity and posts were equal.

To get 14 potential activity you need only one post during a 2-week period. If you don't make that post, you get 0 potential activity.

For a long time I posted only once in a while, then I really understood the system and saw that I had 240 potential activity while only having about 100 activity. So I started posting more, and became a Senior member quickly.
