Ibra and Mou are close friends.  So in his first year as Man United manager, he needs someone he can trust and who has the skill and experience.  To top it all, they got him on a free transfer.  Not a bad deal from Mou's point of view.

If manchester united dont pay him huge amount of salary then it is not a bad deal. Remeber when they signed falcao and dimaria? Both players were given crazy amount for their salary and they didnt really contribute for the team . Lets hope zlatan doesnt end up being nothing for manchester united

But remember who their manager was at that time.  LVG is a good manager but I think he is already past his peak.  Mourinho on the other hand is still rising in my opinion.  He still has something to prove and I think we may see his Manchester United stint as a make or break moment in his career.  It's either he will rise and reach the status of the great legendary managers like Ferguson or fail big, ending his career.

Mourinho is not better than ferguson for sure so you could leave him out of the equation. Both di maria and falcao was underperformed so you should leave the coach out of it. Rashford, martial and few young players could shine well under LVG so this shows that they are both worthless, lets hope zlatan will not be following those spotlights

The coach has always something to do with why a player is underperforming, be it in his style of training, his misuse of the player due to his football tactics and philosophy, etc..  With Falcao, he had a recurring knee injury.  With Di Maria, I am perplexed. 

Rashford, martial and few young players could shine well under LVG so this shows that they are both worthless, lets hope zlatan will not be following those spotlights

With Rashford, LVG played him as starter out of necessity not by design.  He had no choice because Man United had a lot of injured players, so he started using Rashford.  Then when he performed well, the media was hyping him and was saying how LVG is brilliant for starting him.  It wasn't the case.  Again he only started Rashford because he had no choice.

It's possible, Pep & Mourinho are very good managers. There is a lot of money in this new TV deal for the English clubs. Barca, Real & Bayern are still around though.

I think Man Utd have a better chance of winning the EL than Man City in the CL.

New manager, new squad.  There will always be a transition happening especially when you have someone like Mourinho coming in.  Imagine if Pep went to Man United, I think the club will have to endure a bigger transition moving forward if it was him.  One big reason why people think Mourinho could cause 'chaos' within the club is because he's arrogant and brash.  And that he's like a ticking time bomb.  But really he's one of the best football minds of the modern game.

Guardiola can't even win Champions League with Bayern Munich that have lot of good players . With Manchester City current players, it will be a big suprise if Guardiola manage take City go through semi-finals again.

Well, i'm sure Mourinho can changed Manchester United become a scary team again. With a new manager and new player like ibrahimovic, it will be good for Man United.

And I don't think United has any young stars either except maybe for Rashford. Most of their players are old washed-out former big names like Rooney and now another aging player like Ibrahimovich has joined the team. United should try to build a team around young talented players like Ajax is doing because this generation will play for years to come while old players will be dropped in a year or 2.

Yeah, Mourinho is that kind of “reality man” . He believe in performance and stat , he don't take chance.
If the player doesn't get his expection , that player are surely gonna be kick out . Just like Mourinho kick Juan Mata from Chelsea when the spaniard doesn't showed good effort in the pitch.
I think it's good for Manchester United because they have nothing left to be risk anymore.

it's too early to talking about which teams will win the trophy because although some teams has bought new players for rebuilding the teams but doesn't mean it all will going well and there is no guarantee that bought new players will automatically win the title but as usual Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea will be strong candidate to win EPL title

Every season the teams like manchester city, manchester united, chelsea , arsenal and liverpool always favorited to win BPL title so I guess it will keep continue like that.
It just more interesting in this season when there is a lot of world-class managers move to BPL such as pep guardiola, jurgen klopp , and allegri .

Yup, United and City are the favored to win the league.  City has a slight edge over United though.  3rd and 4th would be Arsenal then Chelsea respectively but it's really close.  In the fringes of top 4 would be Tottenham and Liverpool.  Don't count those two out to get into top 4.

no this season but they will be in top 4 team for sure i give biggest chances for Manchester team city and united but for championship title i will not forget and the other team
