It was a one man run by Salah. What a goal. Liverpool just need to hold the lead. No pressure just hang in there. Only 5 to 8 minutes to go including the extra time.

From my perspective, that's a bit too far, It's a gamble anyways and it could have been won too.

City’s last two games were Fulham & Cardiff who both basically bent kver & took the D.
Time to see what City are made of with some much tougher games. Remember they play Spurs 3 times in 2 weeks because of the CL 1/4 final (2 legs).

I hope man city at least get 1 draw or even lose on this last 4 matches, so liverpool have a big chance to win the premier league this season. On the other hand, liverpool success win and got 3 points today! Good one and another Salah goal, let's go liverpool, you almost got it.

Great game for Liverpool yesterday. Southampton could have scored few more before LFC shifted in higher gear and won the game. They are really feeling the pressure of title race and their presentation is nowhere close to levels it was few months ago but they are winning the games which is the only thing that matters in the end of day.

Hopefully City will decide to rest Aguero & Sterling in PL and field strongest 11 in Europe. Cit doesn't look nearly as dangerous without those 2 in first 11.

it looks like many won gamble holding on liverpool. like many predictions Liverpool will beat Southampton even though playing at Southampton home stadium. Liverpool really played well. almost all technical aspects mastery by Liverpool. for me R.Firmino and Moh.Salah become man of the match. congratulations for the gamblers who hold Liverpool. YNWA..

Yeah I made a rare big bet on Liverpool last night with a 1.5 handicap (I always bet, but small bets or part of parlays typically) so when it was 70th minute and we needed two goals, I thought it was gone. I had every faith we would still score the winner, but the goal from Hendo was a nice way to cap off the victory. I think we still collected 4 really unnecessary yellows, but perhaps it's all calculated with 5 games left.

First goal for Nabi, end of drought for Salah, goal from a captain (and the way he celebrated? haha). Who can ask for more?

Almost my bet against last night's match between Soton and Liverpool missed after seeing the match that Liverpool left behind first. But, in the end, the final score in this match made me happy because I got some benefits from the bets I put on various gambles. Besides that, Liverpool managed to shift the top of the Premier League standings from Manchester City. However, they must remain vigilant because the competitors still have one game more than them.

Salah’s goal was special, what a moment. 9 games with no goal, the title maybe drifting away then BANG!!!!!

Southampton vs Liverpool today. Any mistake from Liverpool will cost them the title. I hope a straight win of 0 - 2 for Liverpool. The record is also good against Southampton.

It seems that this is not easy because Southampton are in the best performance they got 2 wins, one of which beat Tottenham

yes southampton is good team and they are almost draw against Manchester United. but liverpool is very confident to play in this match with the last five winning streak in EPL , they are very close with EPL winner if they can beat southampton.

The drama really happened in this match and Liverpool almost lost points lucky liverpool still has great players like Salah

Made two bets.  I got Bournemouth at home, ML to win vs Burnely at 2.05.  Burnley have been sucking away this season and Bournemouth have been mostly doing ok at home despite starting pretty bad on 2019.  Sure it could end up a draw...  But whatever.  I just wanna watch a game with some action going.

And I also got Everton to win +0 vs the Gunners at 2.25.  Seems value.  And Marco Silva seems to be starting to do well and he has a full squad to pick players from with no injuries.  Yay!

Hey you’re right I too was in mixed minds when I choosed Liverpool for victory last night, I knew Southampton were resilient but I trusted Kloop to break their wall. I’ll also admit I got nervous in the second half when it seemed Liverpool were not going to win, and suddenly those goals come and change the match. I feel Liverpool got everything right last night, and it’s their title now to loose.

I was also surprised with the match which Bournemouth happen to be the leading team, loose some opportunity and later leading by Burnley with 3 goals just in acouple of minutes.
 Hope you dont place much bet on the game because the Bournemouth  have lost this game.

@Trofo I'm also really hoping City field their strongest for Europe, they want to win it so badly they cannot do anything else.

There is a kind of respect for a team going for an unprecendented quadruple. And I personally admire Aguero, if not most of his other team mates. But sporting-wise, they would deserve whatever they get... if Liverpool have a hand in preventing them from making history, though? That would be an even more incredible chapter I think!

As I did another one last night and thinking all it needed was a goal ahead to be able to be rewarded the entire amount at stake with the full odds for a -0.75 handicap my bet was settled for this game in the Austraila league.

As soon as I turn on the tv manchester city scores a goal.
4 minutes in and they are winning this game already. They are a juggernaut team but I still believe LFC will take the title this season.

Regarding Asian handicaps

Half point Asian handicaps (0.5, 1.5, 2.5...) are basically regular handicaps and you can play them as such. The fun starts with quarter handicaps (1.25, 1.75) which split your stake two ways, as buwaytress wrote above.

I never liked these type of handicaps and try to avoid them. Don't see much value in them and some bookies are giving you lesser odds than what you would have if you manually split your stake.

You should have started to have doubts about your bet when you saw that the same site is giving you better odds for 1.75 handicap than for 1.5 handicap. It's not like a team could score fractions of the goal  


Newcastle cost me quite a lot of money today. I had a very nice accumulator bet and only needed 1x for Newcastle to win the whole ticket (odds over 10). Did someone watch the game? From the stats I have a feeling they were much better team but couldn't score a goal while C. Palace got their winning goal from only shot on goal. Granted it was penalty, 10th for them this season if I am not mistaken. What's up with that?? That means they get a penalty every third game in PL where referees don't grant them that easily and there is no VAR yet.

Bournemouth was a bit lucky since the first goal was actually an auto goal caused by Burnley and I think that's what really upset Burnley in such a way that they have scored three goal playing again from home. Burnley has beaten Wolvernhampton last round so their motivation before this match was pretty high and that's why they won.
